If all your theories are correct about PS4 21 still having SOTS that means Xbox is to blame as all editions dont have to be alike. That brings hope it could be patched in later like it was in transition to PS4. It has been proven developers can patch a lot with games now (whole modes even)

I just read the FAQ at The Show Nation. That is crazy. A powerful system and disable SOTS for the next gen. I am sure there will be music. Alt Rock, Hip hop, latin, country, Rock and Heavy Metal. It is a blow. But you can jump right into franchise mode after or if they're updated rosters. I am glad I got an Xbox X. I won't pay for joke of a release of next gen. Come on RBI, blow MLB out the waters soon....

I am pissed about this! I pre-ordered standard edition a month ago (last time I ever do that) when I got my PS5, it's already downloading -- how, oh, how can I convert to the PS4 version digitally? Can I buy an upgrade to the game to give me access to the PS4 version? Or do I have to go Gamestop and buy a used disc? Help me out. folks. This is absolutely rediculous!

I've said it before and I will say it again, I don't get why digital purchasers pre-order so early unless it is a deal where they have the money then but possibly not now.

You can pre-order today, after the stream, and still get the same benefits of those who preordered months ago. You can pre-order tomorrow, after the first real streams happen from actual players and the first YouTube videos appear, and still get the benefits. The only difference being is that you will be a far more educated consumer than you were a month ago.

The feature was not patched back in it was brought back on MLB 15 after the PS4 system did an update to be able to read MP3 files. MLB 14 on PS4 did not have SOTS.

However they were very up front. Transparent and said they will get it back in asap.

Their lack of communication now leaves a lot to be desired.

I wouldnt bet money on it seriously. 2k would have added music back ages ago for WWE 2k & NBA 2k if it were that simple. SOTS is dead IMO unless SDS crawls out from their hiding place and comments

Point well taken. When I bought it, I honestly said to myself "If it's the same game on PS4 and just ported onto PS5, it's still worth the buy." The Show has always been a solid product. I never imagined they would remove such an essential (at least for me) part of their game. Fool me once...

Yeah but that’s jus backwards !!!! Plus tbh the PS4 version is the same as the PS5 without the stadium creator as they jus flat ported over to PS 5 instead of making the next gen an actual next gen!! Soon as I can find an Xbox series X I’m moving away from the drowning ship that is Sony !!

And, how may I ask is Sony sinking?
