Well, been busy completing editing almost all the created stadiums that came with the game. Never thought I’d even use it, but it does add something to the game. I’d say that 90% of the stadiums uploaded to the vault are absolute gawdy junk, way over the top, but there are some gems. Guy did a pretty nice Tiger Stadium.



Been working on my roster pre-starting my franchise, so that has tsken up some time, but I finally sat down to play the game.....finally.



Absolutely beautiful on the PS5. I wasn’t thrilled that SOTS was gone, but I must say with what they’ve done with the walk up music and crowd interaction I’m really not missing it. The pitchers reaction on some close pitches is well done. I’m concentrating on overriding the AI with multiple runners on (I use AUTO). Able to advance a runner from second to third without sending the trailing runner to.



One thing I didn’t like. Pittsburgh down 6-1 in the 5th with a runner on first let their pitcher bat (he bunted). Have to keep an eye on this in future games (Countryboy/Archie any problem you see with this?)



Final 10-2 victory over Pittsburgh. Playing on AS v. AS no sliders touched. Certainly don’t want that score to be commonplace, but only one exhibition game.



Really, really like pitcher reactions and facial expressions. Lots of hit variety. I do play on AUTO field, MANUAL throw, AUTO base running, center swing (never use the power button) absolute clean screen.



Trying to upload a photo of a gamer created stadium. This photo does ZERO justice to how the game looks. I absolutely disagree that the game looks no better than the PRO (which I played on last year). It is stunning looking. Guess the gear makes a difference.



Back to making my roster.

Quick question for you. I also do auto fielding with manual throwing. Do your fielders have the blue circle under them? I can't figure out how to shut that off

Dont know if this is the thread for it, but why is SDS always a year behind with heights and weights of players. Minor pet peeve, but a guy like Brennen Davis still being listed at 175, when he's 210 makes a big difference in his character model.

Its irritating having guys like him, or Miguel Amaya, or Colton Welker being off by a full 40 lbs.

Also, a whole bunch of prosoects' ages are off by a year. In the case of Francisco Alvarez, I think it's off by two years.

I've been bunting a lot more over the weekend than I normally will throughout the course of the year, just to get a feel for it when the time comes I'll need one in a late inning tight score game and...

...my first weekend impression is rocket bunts are gone. I had several, well over 10, where I successfully advanced a runner to second w/o fear of a double play. now let's see if the next patches alters that

I thought the new software update for PS5 offered 120hz HDR

under video output - enable 120hz output. set to Auto.

Does The Show not support this feature?

Once you set the series x to 120fps it’ll run all games at the OLEDs lowest input of 5ms while the ps5 supports 120fps but is only activated if the game runs in 120fps. The C9 and CX OLEDs run 60fps input lag at 13ms and 120fps which is the native FPS for the tv at 5ms. So the same game on the ps5 would run around 13ms while it’ll run 5ms of input lag on the series x. For most games it won’t be noticeable but for shooters and games like the show it’ll help a bit. Hope this helps

I'm at work right now, so can't confirm but I'm pretty sure I have that off. I've been playing for years so I'm pretty familiar with the settings and I still can't figure it out. Thanks for the response ill double check when I get home

From what I’ve seen, if you use auto fielding with button accuracy for throwing you will get the fielder indicator no matter what. If you use button for throwing, you won’t.

Someone correct me If I’m wrong.

From what I’ve seen, if you use auto fielding with button accuracy for throwing you will get the fielder indicator no matter what. If you use button for throwing, you won’t.

Looks like turning the meter off gets rid of it. Mystery solved.
