Had fun playing MLB the show after 4 years of not playing, played three games & went 2-1, i loss on that extra inning rule, thought I turn it off but still a fun experience.

The constant server issues make this game worthless IMO. Just constant disconnects and downtime. Especially in the evenings. It's really killing the game for me.

I think the ticker just doesn't show up completely at the bottom of the screen. Bugs the hell out of me. Well it gone lol

I was just about to post about this. yesterday when I posted about framerate on xbox one S it was real choppy but today at least offline it's much more improved. Almost like last year's ps4 but not quite there yet. I dont know if SDS fixed it or something happened but I played some exhibition games today and it was much better.

I also did some DD conquest and it was iffy. Framerate at some ballparks was good, while others it was really bad.

I hope they figure it out and fix it.

I'm with you guys on the framerate, it's pretty bad on the One S. The only reason I decided to download it on my One S (which I almost never use tbh) was because of gamepass, which I normally only use on my pc. In the past I would buy The Show on my PS4 Pro but I decided to try it out this year on my One S and while it's still playable it can be a chore to play at times. The framerate really tanks during cutscenes (not that big of a deal) and when the ball is hit to the outfield (much bigger deal). I really wish they would give us the option to turn the resolution down to 720p, that would get a steady 30fps I would imagine. I play Switch games at 720p on my LG OLED and it's fine.


More than anything though I just want this game to come to pc....PLEASE GOD SOMEONE MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I just had a pitch where the ball clipped completley through the CPU batter's bat on his swing in Play Now Live Rosters! WOW smh. At 1st I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. So went into instant replay & sure enough the CPU batter swang right through the ball! 1st it was players clipping through bodies, now the ball is going through the bat on swings? Come on! I think I'm done with this game.

I noticed Ronald Acuna doesn't do his 3rd base home run "Miggy step", whereas Marcell Ozuna does his stutter step when he hits a home run.

I changed my setting on my xbox one to 720p and it helped w/ the frame rate.

I really thought with it coming to xbox and having cross platform play they might actually invest in a decent server, but it seems to be the same potato they've been using for the past decade

I'm seeing stuff like the catcher running completely through my batter's body to catch pop ups. Baserunners running completely through an infielders body. Outfielders clipping through the ball boy's body attempting to catch fly balls. The 1st baseman's arm clip through my on base runner on pick off attempts, etc.

I'm on PS5 and I expected better in this area. This type of stuff totally kills immersion & has to go.

Totally agree, especially the swipe tag through the baserunner with a pick off annoys me and every year I’m hoping it’s gone. They did improve tags the last couple of years but this one is still in and needs to go.

Catcher running through batter same thing, I thought they had players avoiding each other in past editions in situations like this but this year it seems like it’s happening again which is not a good thing.

For the first time ever, I am having major issues with hitting. I've always done All Star and Fish Eye. This year I cannot recognize breaking pitches until its way too late, fastballs I'm late. MY TV settings are fine.

Most of my initial impressions were positive.

After a second night of playing I think the gameplay is still great, but the menus really do suck and I hate that this is a lot of people's first experience with RTTS because it's just not that fun with the current format.

The team selection process is so strange and fast that I barely noticed the phone ringing with the Phillies logo. I would have preferred a draft or something instead of a 4 second cutscene with a ringing phone. There wasn't an option to customize my player before going in either so for a minute I thought I was stuck with the default person. Then they really keep forcing the 2 way player thing on you for a bit.

I also can't seem to back out to the club house from the screen where you select which player loadout you want to use. Once you pick you want to play a game or sim to the next game of the series without going back to the clubhouse you are locked into the game. So before I knew what was really going on with loadouts I was stuck with a loadout for an infielder while I was being tested as the starting pitcher.

Some of it may be user error but the whole RTTS experience is so disconnected and strange. I just don't know what they were thinking with some of these menus.
