Hey there

I have edited all my lineups and rotations but when I start a franchise it changes them all on me . I have everything set to manual.

Is there a workaround for this ?

Wat until you start your season, then do it. If you want to do all the lineups, choose CPU Roster Control when setting up the league. Or use 30 team control and create 2 user profiles, one for you, one for the teams you don't use.

Q: Is there a way to get rid of the swing feedback that I just can't seem to find anywhere? It's the worst.

I think I found a workaround . If I set my 40 man roster instead of 26, simulate to last day of spring training and then do the send downs myself .The lineups and rotations appear to stick

Hey folks. Just picked up 21 and have a quick question. Started a 30 team franchise and now I cant change uniforms for any team? Is this a thing now?

I'm prefacing this by saying the last MLB The Show I played was 16 on PS3, and I MIGHT get 22 (or 21 on sale) if I decide to get a PS5 then.

What is roster sharing like on modern versions of this game? Do you just download them online, or can you download rosters offline from here and put it in your game (in other words, if the servers shut down and i have a past version of a game, could i still download rosters on here if there happens to be someone still making rosters?)

For SOTS, is it nonexistent in these games, or is it even remotely similar to how it was on PS3 where you could edit walkup music, between inning music and all that?

And for franchise mode, is trade finder good? That's always been a feature I loved in past sports games, but I think as of PS3 days that Madden and maybe NBA 2K were the only ones which had trade finders.

Besides graphics, I do wonder how different the game is from the 2016 PS3 days and the current game.

Definitely some notable improvements to ball physics and animations are much smoother. The player models are better for some players, but still bad for short/stocky players.

Anyone know how to apply custom camera settings for game watching? I can’t get my custom settings to ever work for just watching and I hate how zoomed out the new default camera settings are.

Also, what happened to the post game highlight reel? It was awesome in 20, but it’s gutted in 21.

Is it just me or did they remove the real life city shots during later innings of games? I’m not even sure if I’ve seen them in 20. 19 might’ve been the last game they used this?

I wasn't a big fan of those shots bc they always seemed so low res. Give me a beautiful 4k shot of a city rather than a pixelated mess.

Quick question… I got 21 recently in December (8 bucks used) and after playing some games I feel that this game is way harder on both sides of the ball… idk if my perception is wrong but It seems that way for me, is it harder??


And OMG the check swings now, frustrating!

With PS5 still not having SOTS even for MLB22, is it at least possible to play music from spotify on your PS5 and still have game noises playing as well (like the little things such as sound effects when you're going through the menu screens?)

And if so, is it easy to play/stop the music?

Might sound stupid, but since I have a PS3, the only controls I know are the PS button in the middle of the PS3 controller which brings up the menu screen, and I think you had to exit the game to open another game or app. Hopefully if its possible to play sounds on ps5, you're not basically pausing the game when switching over to spotify to play something.

Yes it is possible. I did that the last month or so on 21 because the menu music was starting to get annoying (although somehow I survived ~4 years of MLB 16 on PS3 w/o turning the music off). You don't even need to be in the Spotify app to start/stop playing music, you can just do it from the music menu on the quick menu. Or you can control it from your phone/computer if you have them linked
