Why was the decision made for the pitchers break attribute to stay stagnant? Pitchers improve on their pitches as they progress IRL? This creates a bunch of prospects that never improve their pitches and never get to the level of most older pitchers.

Also, velocity stays stagnant as well. Would love to see pitchers velocity come down a bit as they age.

I'm still trying to get a PS5.... Question is if I buy the game on PS4 now for $60, that game will work on the PS5, correct? But to get the full next gen experience (stadium creator, RTTS videos) I'd have to re-buy the PS5 specific version for another $70?

Is this correct?

Will there be a graphical difference in game between the PS4 version running on PS5 and buying the PS5 version?

Yes you would have to buy the PS5 version to get the next gen features (haptic feedback and stadium creator)

You will lose Sounds of the Show by advancing to next gen.

Not sure if SoTS work with the PS4 version in the PS5 for '21 like they did '20.

I don't know about graphical differences.

There is a version / tier of the game that includes both versions of the game , old and next gen.

Very minimal graphics increase.

You will need to rebuy the PS5 version. There is no free upgrade or $10 more to upgrade. I think it has to do with the fact that there are modes and features like create a stadium that are not in the last gen versions so a simple upgrade is not possible. Regarding the graphics, I have a PS5 and have played PS4 games on it. For certain PSVR games, I can tell a difference with the graphics and definitely with load times. Certain PS4 games got patched to run and look better on PS5 so it will depend on the game. You should check out youtube to see if anyone has done comparisons.

If I'm understanding correctly, I should buy the $85 Jackie Robinson version to start on PS4, and hopefully get a PS5 soon.. and will have the full PS5 version on the PS5 without having to purchase anything else? Rather than spending $60 now and $70 later?

I see the “Two Way Player” tab but clicking it does nothing...

There was no old gen Xbox version. This is the first year that the game has been available on Xbox. Before this, it was a PlayStation exclusive.

I think they have to be a pitcher. You can edit a pitcher to have good hitting and fielding.

Once have played enough both on the mound and in the lineup, they automatically become a two way player.

I believe so yes. I am playing it on Game Pass so I don't need to worry about any of this stuff.

Does anyone know if MLB The Show patches stadium names ? Reason I ask since Marlins Park is now known as loanDepot Park (Yes it’s God awful).
