    @ LowerWolf

I follow the real life uniforms to the best of my ability within the limitations of the game. Here is a link to a uniform tracker.

I already use that uniform tracker myself, but that weather tracker is clutch. Very nice.

I too normally follow that y1. After that, or if I ever pass that in my franchise, I just use the general rules. At home, Red on Friday, Cream on Sunday, White every other day. On the road it's a little more random, mostly wearing blue.

Thanks so much for sharing this! Gonna start using these and implement it into my new Franchise with the Mariners I’ll be starting today. Definitely adds to the realism to follow along!

This is pretty cool. I see April 2021, but not May. How do I get to the next month? Or will that not be updated until the month has finished?

They didn't upload April until May, so I'd expect May sometime in June. You can always just do a quick YouTube search too. Every game gets highlights put on YouTube by MLB, so you get a quick peak at at the unis, and then go about your business.

              End of Season - 2021

The offseason is officially here and despite a late season push we were not good enough to make the post season. But we can atleast say we were better than 1 playoff team. We ended up going 80-82. 5 games better than I thought we would. We entered September at 62-70 before going 18-12 the rest of the way And for the first time ever an MLB team has not only made the playoffs but won a division with a losing record. Going into the last game of the season the Cubs and Brewers were tied at 77-84. The Cubs were facing the 74 win Cardinals while the Brewers were going up against the 95 win Dodgers. As expected the Cubs went on to lose to the Cards while the Brewers knocked off the Dodgers to give them their 78th win and secure the last playoff spot.
              Standings
              Spoiler

Offensively things could have gone better. Adalberto Mondesi had probably the worst season of his career. Things went south from day 0 as he went on the DL the day before the season started. Came off the DL nearly 2 months later and could never figure it out at the plate. Salvador Perez missing what might as well have been his 2nd full season in the last 3 was also a major dissapointment. Forced us to play Gallagher and Espositio who hit .206 and .181 and combined for an OPS well under .600. It wasnt all bad though. Hunter Dozier proved he deserved his contract extension hitting .293/.380/.533 with 29 HR and 31 Doubles. All career highs. His defense wasn't great but he played a few games in the OF and should really be playing strictly at 1B but with Ryan McBroom coming into his own and Ohtani locked in to DH when he plays we have to put people where ever we can.
              Offensive Stats
              Spoiler

The pitching was definitely the bright spot on the season. Brad Keller, Danny Duffy, and Brady Singer put up ERA's of 3.32, 3.32, and 3.18 respectively. Ohtani missed about 2 months total including the last 6 weeks of the season. He had a 4.24 ERA in 116 IP. The 5th starter spot was definitely a weak spot but in the last half of the season, we found a competent guy in Jonathan Bowlan putting up a 3.20 ERA in 12 starts. Scott Barlow pitched over 100 innings out of the pen putting up a 2.01 ERA. Josh Staumont picked up 39 saves in 55 games with a 2.56 ERA while Holden Capps and Kyle Zimmer had ERAs of 2.51 and 2.47.

We enter the offseason with only 2 players (Danny Duffy and Greg Holland) set to be free agents. We will do what we can to bring Duffy back. Holland on the other hand is definitely gone. He ended up having an okay season but will be 36 next year and the lowest K/9, and highest HR/9 and FIP of his career. Not sure how active we will be in free agency. We could really use a good backup catcher in case Salvy gets hurt again. Maybe add another outfielder and reliever. Mike Matheny will get another season as manager as well as Cal Eldred returning as pitching coach. We will definitely be looking for a new hitting coach and farm director. Not sure if Caleb Nelson and Vance Wilson will return as our 1st/3rd base coaches yet.

Texas Rangers Update (MOM) Season 1

The end of July is here and the Trade Deadline has passed. We made some small trades and one big one. I put certain players on the trade block and waited for replies on whether to accept trades throughout July. 4 trades were made.

                1. Hunter Wood was traded for Billy Hamilton (Not sure about this one, Hamilton is in AA right now)
                2. Taylor Hearn was traded for Yusmero Petit (I like this move. Petit strengthens back end of pen)
                3. Willie Calhoun was traded to the Mets for un upcoming young 2nd baseman
                4. Leody Tavaras is the big move. He was traded to Houston for Michael Brantley

We are sitting at 54-50 just 3 and a half games out of first and 1 game out of the Wild Card. A surprising season to say the least.
Mike Trout is hitting 410 and could he be the next 400 hitter. He leads the majors in HR's with 37, RBI with 97. Runs scored with 90. Incredible pace. The Dodgers and Padres are clearly the best 2 teams in the National League as it appears both will win over 100 games. In the AL the Yankees and Twins both have 15 plus game leads in their divisions.

I hope I can keep up the pace. A playoff run into August seemed unlikely at the beginning of Spring but here we go

LOVE Brantley. One of my all time favorite MLBTS players to hit with. Plus ad an Indians fan I root for the guy still. Good move to get him. Curious as to what the Astros record is in your franchise? Were they way out of the ayoff race to make this trade?

No they are in 1st, surprised me. They offered and I was more than happy to accept. I mean Leody has great speed, he is young and Brantley is in his lower 30's not sure the thinking but he might be the piece to go along with Gallo that could push us in to the playoffs

Re: MLB The Show 21 Franchise Discussion Thread

My first Astros rebuild season and offseason has come to an end. We ended the year with a 74-88 record, which is actually a little better than I thought it was going to be.

                      Some key players’ stats:
                      SP - Lance McCullers Jr. - 11-11 - 2.48 ERA
                      LF/DH - Yordan Alvarez - .307 AVG - 20 HR - 66 RBI
                      RF - Kyle Tucker - .237 AVG - 18 HR - 63 RBI

My entire starting rotation was really solid last season. Urquidy had a 3.03 ERA, Valdez had a 3.04 ERA. Odorizzi had a 3.69 ERA. Triston McKenzie was my one weakness with a 4.58 ERA, but I’m not too worried about him. Alvarez had a great year, but he got hurt and had to miss over a month so hit HRs and RBI numbers weren’t as good as they could have been. Tucker struggled with his average. I’m not panicking about it but I am looking for him to pick it up soon.

Here were my draft picks from 2021:
                      LF - Tim Barton - 73 OVR
                      SP - Nick Langford - 74 OVR
                      SP - Bucky McCullough - 72 OVR
                      SP - Irvin Quisenberry - 66 OVR

Going into the off-season I wanted to make a significant change in my strikeout %. I felt like my guys struck out way too much last season so I made sweeping changes across the board in the lineup. I didn’t pick up any major hitters but the guys I grabbed can hopefully put the ball in play better than my last squad.

                      Some pickups in free agency:
                      2B - Chris Taylor
                      1B - Yuli Gurriel
                      SS - Andrelton Simmons
                      SS - Jose Iglesias
                      RF - Mitch Haniger
RP - John Brebbia (Rule 5 Draft)
                      RP - Collin McHugh

My idea was to move either Simmons or Iglesias to 3B and keep the other one at SS. I’m a Chris Taylor fan, I love his ability to play almost every position so I felt the need to pick him up. I wasn’t planning on signing Yuli since I traded him last year but he was still there late into free agency so I went ahead and snagged him. I’ve always kind of had my eye on Mitch Haniger so when I saw him there and nobody was offering him, I jumped on the opportunity. He will take the LF spot for now while Alvarez plays DH.

I’m starting on Spring Training right now to work out the kinks. I will post an update with starting lineups when I get to the regular season.

*I was down 5-2 in the 7th inning. After a walk by Giolito he was yanked. It was soon bases loaded. I launched a grand slam against Marshall with David Dahl to give us a 6-5 lead late.

**on the flip side the Rockies are 4th with a 3.10era. The story coming into the game is Chi Chi González with 0 runs allowed in three starts. Sadly only 1-0 with no run support in his starts. I looked back and his first start of the season he went 7.1ip 4h 3k 4bb and 0er. Rockies lost the game 2-0.

                          Injury news and updates:

Tigers S. Turnbull (2-1 3.44era) out 1-2 weeks/SP M. Fulmer steps into the rotation. After his performance so far this season I think he will stay in the rotation even when Turnbull is healthy.

Orioles SP M. Harvey (1-2 1.93era) out 1-2 months. SP K. Akin called up and slotted in LRP role.
SP A. Plutko(1-1 7.23era) will take Harvey's spot in the rotation.

Tigers RF V. Reyes (.323 1hr 3rbi) out 1-2 weeks. CF D. Cameron called up. He and R. Grossman will get starts in OF in meantime.

                          April 29: Brewers (7-14) vs Dodgers (17-5)

Hopefully I don't get struck out 12 times and shut out again. I'm ready for him this time! That knuckle curve is mine to crush...hopefully haha!

                          April 30: Marlins (14-8) vs Nationals (10-12)

                          S. Alcantara (2-1 3.60era 25ip 20k) vs J. Lester (2-2 6.27era 18.2ip 11k)

May 1: White Sox (16-7) vs Indians (8-13)

                          C. Rodon (2-1 2.04era 35.1ip 29k) vs S. Bieber (3-0 1.22era 37ip 34k)

Once I finish I'll do a monthly wrap up and edited batting lineups around the league to ensure the guys who are hitting get more ABs, and those not drop down. Also any back of the rotation guys who are doing bad I may put in bullpen in replace of current LRP. Or call up a AAA SP if one is dominant there.

I had a pretty rotten draft yesterday, my best player has a 75 potential. I need to but more emphasis on scouting and less on discovery

                              Hey yall,

So I'm trying to bring LBN2010's 1880-present Legends roster back. All time teams. Including Negro League legends as well (randomly assigned to help the bottom feeders).

Currently trying to replace all The Show legends with CAPs and making them all 18 with 10 yr/1 million per for long term franchise play.

I could use assistance by those gifted at creating players. About 90% done.

                              If you can, either:

Help with the remaining CAPs to replace The Show legends

                              Or

Download the roster and provide me with critique, tweaks, requests so this can be the best around and, hopefully, last/get better for years to come.

                              AP-Legends-League is the roster name.

                              Thanks!

I've seen a bunch of people say how much they enjoy playing with Toronto so I thought I'd give it a try. That offense is a blast to play with, the starting pitching aside from Ryu is rough. Was wondering, is there much benefit to their progression to bring the young arms up and start them now? Ryu and Ray can stay, but I was thinking of bringing up Pearson and Woods-Richardson now.
