    That's 2,790 edits. Wow.

I went through and "balanced" the roster again. I changed primary positions to line up with what they are in the default lineup. For example, Vlad Jr. has a primary of 3B even though he's playing 1B in the default roster lineup, so I edited his primary to 1B.

I thought doing that for teams was a lot of work, but CB you have me beat.

Doing it during ST isn't so bad. I do one team then play a game

        Hello everyone,

I’m playing a full 162 game schedule with the Cardinals and I’m getting absolutely crushed every game. My pitching is terrible and I’m lucky to get 2 runs a game. I’m playing on All Star difficulty for both sides of the field. I tried dynamic and it was good about progressing me up but seemed to stay too high for too long and I would be getting blown out for long periods. So I was wondering what difficulty everyone uses. (BTW I’m 6-17 to start the season)

Also, Arenado is hitting .158 to start the season. I want to be as realistic as possible with it. Should I sit him. Obviously I can’t send him down to the minor leagues.

I don't post here much, but lurker for sure. Love this community here. I play on dynamic, and start at Allstar. Right now at HOF+ pitching and AS+ hitting (should be at HOF hitting later today).

Personally, I'm finding hitting to be a lot harder this year which I like. what are you finding is the hardest part? I'd recommend maybe even lowering the difficulty for some time, or working at it in practice/exhibition games so your chise doesn't go totally off the rails

As Spring Training begins, the Braves make their first roster move.

Can't go into the season with Chris Martin as the only reliable right-handed reliever (put your hand down Luke Jackson!), so we've brought Shane Greene back on a 1-year, $5M deal. A little more than we wanted to pay, but Greene was looking for a multi-year deal. So we had to sweeten the pot a bit. Left-hander Phillip Pfeiffer was released to make room for Greene.

With that done, I'll sim the rest of Spring Training before getting down to playing every pitch of every game of the regular season (and hopefully postseason).

No I do single team control only.

I don't get too caught up in what the CPU does with its roster. Its my virtual universe and so what happens happens.

My philosophy is that the only 100% realistic trade/roster move that can be made, are the ones that have been made in real life. Other than that, its purely opinion and speculation. Just my .02

Yea that's my opinion too. Honestly in the past I used to try to keep it realistic and it just got too tiring. So I control my team and computer does whatever they do and I'll control my team and build it with what's presented to me within the universe

1-0 with the Bronx Bombers. Gary Sanchez hit a walk-off single to bring home the winning run in the bottom of the 9th to beat the Jays 4-3.

Began my season with the Red Sox and played the first two games of my season. We started off hosting the Orioles and boy oh boy did they bring their bats to Boston.

J.D Martinez and Chris Sale were some of the highlights for the Red Sox as Martinez went yard, and Sale threw for 11Ks. In a 3-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles.

In game two J.D Martinez and Xander managed to go deep but that was all the offense that my Red Sox could muster in a 6-4 loss. Martinez had two solo jacks and Xander a solo jack. Meanwhile Baltimore bats remained scorching hot as they lit us up for 14 hits.

                      More Updates to come.

                      Update #2

Wound up getting swept by the Orioles. Felt, as though our first game was our worst. Dusting off the rust on the sticks. However, we need to find a way to close these games or even come up with some clutch hits. Im likely going to flip this into a YouTube series so hopefully I get some viewers.

Where do we go to see player morale? I see where it shows if they’re happy or not but in years past we could see why they were not happy.

Hopefully this wasn’t removed as well and I’m not just missing it.

Use dynamic difficulty for hitting and put the slider for it to max 10. Play 5-7 games like this and you'll see your difficulty rise or fall quicker and get a good feel on things. Even if you drop to Veteran for a game or two, you will eventually start hitting.

I use HOF hitting and pitching, although I'm trying Legend pitching for a bit to see what happens. Really depends on your hitting and pitching interfaces you use to help determine difficulty. Dynamic works really well imo until you get an idea of where to keep it. If you want to lock it on Allstar+ you can drop the slider to zero so it won't move. Pretty cool way to get that in-between difficulty it seems is needed in sports video games.

After a hot start, the Cardinals sit at 7-8, 2 games in back of the Cubbies.

I'm really enjoying March to October.. kind of cool you get to play games, play a position, etc.. I hope it spans multiple seasons.

Running with stros! Dynamic difficulty. Started 3-1 in first series against Oakland! Hitting is a bit harder this year. Just lost to Angeles 4-1. Pitching is good but hitting I’m having issues

Spring Training is over. Here are my 2021 Atlanta Braves:

A little bit right-hand heavy, but this should be one of the better lineups in baseball.

                                BENCH
                                Alex Jackson, C

                                Johan Camargo, INF
                                Ehire Adrianza, UTIL
                                Ender Inciarte, OF

Sandoval and Adrianza win spots in Spring Training. Jake Lamb and Abraham Almonte were removed from the 40-man roster to make room. They'll be outrighted to Gwinnett if they clear waivers.

                                ROTATION
                                1. Mike Soroka (R)
                                2. Max Fried (L)
                                3. Ian Anderson (R)
                                4. Charlie Morton (R)
                                5. Drew Smyly (L)

The kids move to the front of the rotation. Sean Newcomb moved back to a starting role and actually out-performed Smyly. But when you sign an $11M free-agent deal in the offseason, you're guaranteed a spot in the rotation. For now anyway.

                                BULLPEN
                                CL - Will Smith (L)
                                SU - Chris Martin (R)
                                SU - A.J. Minter (L)
                                MR - Shane Greene (R)
                                MR - Tyler Matzek (L)
                                MR - Luke Jackson (R)
                                MR - Grant Dayton (L)
                                LR - Josh Tomlin (R)

Once Greene was signed, the bullpen was pretty much set.
