Re: The Show 22 Wishlist
Make “Team color 3” cleats, gloves and sleeves change on default. This would make roster edits on equipment ALOT easier and less time consuming.Comment

Re: The Show 22 Wishlist
I'll keep it simple for now:
-- Accurate (or at least editable) option years for each player.
-- Completely re-haul amateur scouting/drafting. Would prefer if this included International Amateur free-agents, but would settle for an expanded draft with more dynamic draft classes how many other sports games do it.
--More specialty equipment. Nike released many special edition batting gloves, cleats and catchers equipment for military appreciation/4th of July and a few others. Would be great if that stuff made it into the game. Also apply the specialty Stance socks on the appropriate days in season. I believe they did that in 20, but not in 21.
--coach/manager improvements. A few things here:
(1) Make all coaches editable. That way we can add in coaches that do not have scans
(2) Each coach should have a specialty (pitching/hitting/fielding/baserunning) that determines what roles they would fit in best (i.e. a coach who specializes in hitting would make a bad pitching coach, but could still be considered for open manager positions). This could work similar to NCAA Football, and could open up a similar coaching carousel.
(3) Again taking a something from NCAA, each coach should have a general philosophy that determines how they will make decisions (similar to playbooks in NCAA/Madden). This will help determine things like batting order, bullpen usage, shifts...etc. Even if there are only 3 or 4 options for each part of the game (pitching/hitting/fielding/baserunning) that will go a long way into making it feel like the manager/coaching staff actually matters. Right now you can tell that each manager uses the same logic to make decisions, which is part of what makes the game feel stale after playing a lot of CPU games. The same could be said about GM/roster construction. Having a few different strategies really opens up some options for a more exciting trade deadline/offseason.
--speaking of the trade deadline....we need to have trade negotiations. I think something similar to NHL where you go through rounds of negotiations on a couple different cell phones and develop relationships with other GMs based on what types of deals you offer would be great (full disclosure haven't played NHL since 15 so maybe that is not in the game any longer). Trades shouldn't take 15 seconds to complete. There needs to be at least a little bit of negotiating.Chicago Cubs

I like all of these. To expand on scouting and draft classes. Actual ratings and potentials shouldn’t be revealed until after players are signed. That way you potentially could get burned signing a bust.
You could do the same with free agency. Keep progression/regression hidden until after you sign any free agent. In fact progression/regression from your own players should be hidden from you until the offseason.
Signing any player based solely off of previous performance and not ratings would provide a greater risk/ reward and make the off season more interesting I think.

Re: The Show 22 Wishlist
I've seen the speciality stance socks apply in my franchise. At least for Jackie Robinson Day and the 4th of July

Get DD completely out of RTTS and return to a more natural progression system instead of relying on virtual card packs to boost skills.Comment

Re: The Show 22 Wishlist
NoOk. I think the Cubs didn't play on Jackie Robinson day this year, so that's probably why I missed it.....and i haven't gotten to July 4th just yet. Would still be cool to add Mother's day/Father's day socks and other specialty equipment besides the Franklin gloves

But yeah, having the other holidays socks (and hats) make it into the game would be nice.

Re: The Show 22 Wishlist
NoThey didn't actually. I only know this because I'm a Braves fan and the Braves wore their red home alternates that they wore for Jackie Robinson Day to following day at Wrigley because the day was also being celebrated there irl. But in the game, it's just on April 15.

Re: The Show 22 Wishlist
In creating a Custom Team, the color choice "Team default" (as opposed to Default) are the colors effected by ones choices for home and away. Currently "Team Default" are available as choices only for wrist bands, socks, cleats and catcher equipment. It would be good if this choice was available also for batting gear, arm bands, wrist guards and wrist tape.

Re: The Show 22 Wishlist
1. Sacrifice bunting needs to be addressed. It's basically useless and at best gives you a trade off on which runner is on first base, at worst is an easy double play (happens often with pitchers). Drag bunting seems okay, but to be honest I don't do it very often to be able to give a qualified opinion on it. The PC doesn't seem to have trouble though
2. Scouting for Franchise drafts. I like the idea of scouts and their strengths and weaknesses, but other than scouting the top 50 or so guys, it's really a crap shoot beyond the first or second round. The game tells me to develop a strategy for draft day, but doesn't really give me any tools to mark guys, stack rank, etc.
3. Tone down the effect of wind a tad. Any wind over 5 mph makes it feel like Candlestick or Wrigley out there.
4. Stadiums could use a quick refresh. Nothing major, but it's clear they were using models from a couple of seasons ago as there have been tweaks since then that aren't showing up yet.Comment
