Singy said the ump made a bad call and the dugout was chirping. It would be nice to see the manager walk out about that bad call.

Re: MLB The Show 22 Commentary and Presentation Deep Dive
I do. I’ve always felt the show theme tried to mimic fox even on the show 19 and 20.
What’s nice is I’ll be on ps4 for 22 and when I see the “national broadcast”, first thought was importing the fox mlb/nfl theme haha.
Honestly, only downside for next gen guys is no sots but these updates plus adding some broadcast theme songs = wow.

I played too much DD last year and totally ignored franchise, this will definitely pull me back into franchise with a fresh look.

Re: MLB The Show 22 Commentary and Presentation Deep Dive
I’m 99% sure it’s only possible if you intentionally hit multiple batters in a row while pitching. I assume that’s by design and won’t be changing, because of MLB not wanting that side of things represented in the game. That’s the most obvious explanation.Comment

But yeah nothing but good news on all fronts surrounding this game imo. Stoked af & first time I’ve ever preordered this early.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 22 Feature Premiere - New Commentary & Presentation
Wish they’d focus on situational commentary and leave the banter & conversation aside, personally. Anything that accurately describes the specific situation and circumstance happening in the game world is a win and will never get old. “Banter” commentary, where you already know in advance what the other guy is gonna say next, is exactly what does get old. Just sayin.

Whether it's explaining the need to get someone home from third base with one out vs. explaining the history of Fenway, both are still going to get old if you play the game a lot. If you're saying you're more lenient of one but not the other then fair enough, but there's no way out on the repetition front regardless of what the majority of the focus ends up on.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). They didn’t upgrade the graphics. No need for a stream on that.

Re: MLB The Show 22 Commentary and Presentation Deep Dive
This sounds amazing and the revamped commentary has been desperately needed in this series for many years.
I wish carryover saves were returning. The baseball season is too long to play franchise mode and make progress before the next version without simming a ton of games.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 22 Commentary and Presentation Deep Dive
You know with the Gameplay updates and these updates '22 is looking good. I am not sure that it is a buy from me right now. I am really involved in my own worlds and franchise's in '20. Especially as right now I do not have a PS5. If I owned a next gen console it might be a harder choice. But I will say after some updates, reviews from you all on here and a price drop this may be a pick up this year. I will be waiting for a price drop. Being on current gen and with all they have taken out it is just not a full price pick up for me.In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

I've enjoyed Matt V, even with his repetitive lines through the years. I won't miss DeRosa and Plesac.
Very excited for the new commentary team. I love that it's a 2-man booth and that Boog and Singleton have worked together in real life, so the chemistry is there. Also, really cool that they were able to use their calls from real MLB games.
The "regional" presentation packages are a nice touch. The postseason presentation upgrades also look good.
Really nice showing from the development team here. These changes and upgrades will go a long way to making 22 feel fresh compared with recent releases, and that's been needed for a while.Currently Playing:
