That'd be a good fact to display in scorebug or flash on screen during a stadium pan.

The catcher looking at the batter when giving his pitch signal to make sure the batter isn't looking. Never noticed that before.

For those of you that play with a team other that the Mets, when you hit a HR does a text box that says It’s Outta Here pop up in the lower right corner? That’s the Mets play by play guys HR call so if it’s something they added specifically to Mets HRs that’s a pretty awesome little thing. I know Vasgersian used to reference it once in a while during Mets HRs

Yes , specific home run overlays are in regional broadcasts.

I just had Kevin Plawecki popup in the infield in the 10th and spike his bat into the ground in frustration, kinda cool to see.

There's one animation for the same situation where the batter uses both hands, one on the handle one on the barrel and tosses the bat down in frustration as well.

Was upset when i popped out to second base, but was ok when i saw the animation lol.

the names Boog and Carlucci call out during the game go deeper than I thought. they call one of Ridin's guys (and I'm sure there's most likely a ton more) by whole name (Oriole 2B Terrin Vavra) even though he isn't really that great a prospect and doesn't have either his given name or surname listed in the database. a pleasant surprise to say the least

Almost all of the players have commentary lines attached to them. This is why we usually tell people to not give any players names in the database. Once you do that that specific player loses all commentary lines attached to him.

Vavra is a perfect example. No name in the database and no name in the editor, but has commentary lines.

Don't known it's been posted but the commentary is great. They start a story and if some action happens on the field they cover that and then circle back to the story. Nice touch

Are no hitters happening around the league? And if so I assume they pop up on the ticker

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

You can buy the ‘it’s outta here!’ Home run commentary in the store and apply to HR calls 👍🏻.

It actually sounds like Gary Cohen but it’s Boog- obviously. Unfortunately you can’t apply it to no doubters.

A lot of people aren't aware of this to be honest. About 95 percent of the players that are in Sony rosters (Default and updates) have commentary lines. Each player is ID tagged even though they don't have any names assigned in the editor.

EDIT: Sorry i quoted the wrong post. Meant to quote decga.
