Re: MLB The Show 22 (PS5/Xbox Series X|S) Q&A
Has anyone simmed ahead a bit and noticed if CPU lineup management is better than last year?

How/when do you get the regional package?"When it's all set and done, reality is the best innovation."Comment

Re: MLB The Show 22 (PS5/Xbox Series X|S) Q&A
So, I’ve been reading the impressions thread and most of the impressions sound great and I’m very tempted to pick up a copy but I have one question.
I’m not exactly a regular to The Show so I need to know does SDS have a history of tuning with the gameplay too much and messing things up with patches? I feel like NBA 2K has this problem every year and I don’t want to be duped

Re: MLB The Show 22 (PS5/Xbox Series X|S) Q&A
I know some people will say that last years 21 game on the new gen consoles had a solid 60fps frame rate even though it didn't, but to those that are able to actually notice the dips, does this year's game run better than last years game? As a primarily PC gamer it is blatantly obvious to me when the fps dips below 60 and I'm hoping that this years game runs better.Comment

No they don’t. They do a great job of only tuning what is absolutely necessary

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: MLB The Show 22 (PS5/Xbox Series X|S) Q&A
Im seeing fewer, if any, drops on batter cutscenes (PS5) but I’m convinced they’ve reduced certain graphical details. Manager/umpire jackets look like attire from GTA vice city- the ps2 version! Overall the game looks good but is way behind in some areas, which can make it look cartoony.
This video shows the dips, just like last year.

Is it just me, or do hitter’s strides seem way slower this year? For reference, I’m playing on PS5, zone + analog hitting (stride not flick) on legend difficulty. Just wanted to see if anyone else was noticing this?Comment

Re: MLB The Show 22 (PS5/Xbox Series X|S) Q&A
I've had one in each of the two games I've played. Once at the start of the game, and once between innings. I am glad they didn't over do it, but it is a cool feature

You can do this by having him as the 2nd spot in the pitching rotation instead of Ace. Someone else figured this out, i forget their user name.
