Hate going thru ST only to have CPU set Lineups,Rotatuins and Bullpens even with 32 Team Control

Can you set them all at the end of Spring Training (after all games are played) before advancing to regular season and they hold?

I have to do this with my single control team even with everything set to manual

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Too bad they couldn't partner with OOTP and offer a Hardcore mode.

Oh man, I have uttered this to myself everytime I dive into OTTP and The Show: Why can't they merge?!

A thought I had while playing NHL is that the player's faces aren't shown much, so create having a body type is all that is needed for player representation clear back to the beginning. Since we don't have flying cars yet, which we were suppose to, at least we could have a baseball game that is light years advanced past what were were playing 20 years ago.

          Here are my ideas:

          1. If San Diego Studios have some sort of "Read the Pitch" from MVP Baseball 2005, I would be ecstatic.
          2. Adding a 20th pitch would be nice. (Yes, I have a weird fascination with even numbers.) Gryoball, Split Changeup, Fosh Ball, Shuuto, Eephus pitch, & Joey Lucchesi's "Churve" are good possibilities.
          3. Adding High-A, Low-A, and Rookie MiLB leagues would be nice.
          4. Expanding the sliders from 0-10 to 0-100 would be nice.
          5. Having current ballparks with older outfield dimensions would be a wonderful change. I could play at the Oaklannd Coliseum pre-Mount Davis, a symetrical Guaranteed Rate Field, and Minute Maid Park with Tal's Hill.

          That's it for now.

agree 100%, only mode I play, I am buying the game no matter what, but franchise love:
            1. crowd appearance-for low crowds/ have empty sections/fans mostly in IF oriented seats
            2. rainouts/doubleheaders -27th man decision/games delayed by rain/games started than rained out etc.
3.ability in game to see: upcoming schedule/expected starting pitchers/players fatigue meters
            4. injuries-more day-to-day type/a risk reward system for playing a slightly hurt player/illness type "injuries"/more pregame decisions like -player A is a little tired-not feel ing well, aggravated something etc
            5. a way to somehow integrate the "live game rosters" into franchise for each game. i.e. for every team in every game of franchise the rosters, lineups, updated ratings, positions etc etc would be as they were in real life that day-maybe uploading and integrating a file every 2 wks?/ I would gladly pay for this as some kind of "live franchise" mode
            6. increased Bullpen A.I. by CPU-especially for late inning matchups

                For me two simple things:

                1. Year to year roster saves, and
                2. Significant increase in the last name database. In 2022 the number of last names decreased a lot with the implementation of a new broadcast team.

The option to play shorter seasons than the full 162.

Something as simple as a 30 game season would give people the option to use and learn about more teams.

A cool extension of roster editing would be a section for coaches. Seeing as though there isn't much coaching turnover throughout a season, having the ability to edit the generic coaches/managers who are in place of guys were not with a team the previous season would be nice.

You can do it in Spring training. Have to make sure you’re roster is cut to 26 players before advancing to regular season.

Also, I think there is something that requires all players being sent to the minors be assigned to the correct levels (according to where they were before spring training started/the actual roster file has them in) not 100% sure but I remember seeing this before.

I do know that having 26 man roster is most important bc then the CPU will auto demote players and auto generate a new lineup

When using CAP Nick Avila, who the White Sox took in the Rule 5 Draft in December, I noticed Avila was not in the data base. What the heck.

Also, I don't need completely full minors but having the max Roster Size for the levels they have available would be cool. Increase Triple and Double A to 28 players while increasing Single-A to like 20.

Being able to get a ps5. I’m over the ps4 pro for sports games.

On that note, Graphics, presentation, atmosphere. I know this may sound little but I figured for sports games in general, we would be leaps ahead then what we currently are at.

I want security on the field between innings, ball girls, better grass and dirt, jerseys having some movement from the wind, chalk lines completely gone in later innings. Replays from the previous games when batters come to the plate(series performance) real life ads ever few innings(commercials) but not long. Maybe skip-able after 5 seconds or so. Smooth 60 fps. Not sure if it’s a thing but maybe some players return as coaches.

The show isn’t bad by any means but they knew how to up the game back then and they haven’t in awhile. I want the game like I see it on TV. I need the immersion factor back.
