I love hitting home runs But 200 home runs a season is a little over the top.
One way to scale down season home runs and to get to the World Series quicker would be to have less games and Less innings.
I'd like to be able to adjust my created uniforms throughout the franchise season.
Would like to be able to send franchise created players back to roster from franchise and visa versa .

If I'm dreaming here's my dream would be to add a text to speech synthesizer This would give us the freedom to figure out for ourselves what team and player names are appropriate and what are not.

Love the new announcers and if they add Y2Y and all the names from 2021 it would be out of the park for me.

True but if you are on anything but PS4/PS5, you don't have that option.

I was answered his particular post about the last time he was immersed was 20 because of his carryover franchise. It was not a general statement.

I can’t go back to ‘20

I’ve messed with it a few times because I was so upset about losing my long running franchise.

But ‘21 was an improvement and ‘22 even more so that ‘20 just doesn’t feel as good.

And I play a majority of my games with PS4 version on PS5 to get SOTS.

The defensive improvements on 22 were outstanding…in particular the OF throwing and play in general. That is literally the only thing I miss from 22. If 20 had that…..it would be a perfect baseball game.

But for me personally….I love my Y2Y franchise so much plus all the roster content….20 is where it is for me.

I feel like I need to go back and try 20 but to be honest i worry about are there any up to date rosters from recently with offseason moves and what about prospects that were not in 20 or around much then like Francisco Alvarez and such

There is a great opening day 2022 roster. That was the last updated roster we had for 20.

Someone may step up and make a 2023 roster for 20. You never know because the game has a crazy loyal following.

Everything has been renewed

How about a real next gen game that takes advantage of the current gen systems. There’s no reason why the grass looks like carpet. It’s the same ps3 grass we’ve seen for years now.

One thing that I noticed the other day was how terrible the crowd noise is in this game. Not the general cheers but when they start chanting things it sounds like it’s in a room with 10 people shouting something.

I visited 20 a few days ago. The player vault…..what can I say. It puts 22 to shame, which is full of junk. Wish some of those guys would transition to the PS5. The Show 20 on the PS 5 looks absolutely beautiful too. It may be, IMHO, the best overall with the options available, SOTS, cough, cough.

I honestly think the ps5 version is the ps4 version in 4K. The textures still look bad.

Exactly…that’s all it is…I play away games on ps5 and home games for SOTS…only graphical difference imo is the stadiums…one thing I would like introduced is some sort of catch function implemented

I 100% agree with you here and have been stressing the need for better grass for several years now here on OS.

That being said, I honestly do not see the next gen 'upgrade' surfacing until MLBTS24. Based on the unsubstantiated rumors online (I'm sure everyone here has seen it, but here it is: https://twitter.com/LumberjackRy/sta...98525874528256) MLBTS23 may be the last version released on last gen consoles (Switch, PS4, XBONE).

If this is indeed true, I see graphics pretty much staying the exact same this coming year. My real hope is that SDS has already been hard at work (this dev cycle and the upcoming dev cycle after MLBTS23 releases) coding a true next gen graphical leap that will hit for the release of MLBTS24 after they don't have to worry about last gen versions.

Next to player models, this is my next biggest gripe with the graphics. PNC Park field/grass is downright awful.
