Simple - port it to PC. I am staying out of the next console generation.

I would love much deeper and better online leagues. Also, the graphics need to start looking next gen.

Remember back in the day, after you make a play and throw the runner out, you can throw the ball around for a bit and even dive around the field, I miss that. I want full control. allow me to interact with things around the field post play. Throw the ball around and maybe even throw the ball away and allow a runner to advance as an error. I miss fun factor. That used to be area of gaming that was actually part of reviews.

This has been my issue with this game for years now. I hate that the game is basically doing a lot of the fielding for you. I honestly believe they do it so the animations can look smooth, but it kills the feeling of having control and it also prevents a lot of fielding mistakes.

Return of some legends. Cobb, and Ted Williams. Add some new ones like DiMaggio, and others. Including some from the steroids era like McGwire and Sosa.

More old time stadiums. Tiger Stadium, Kingdome, Astrodome, Ebbets Field, and maybe some of the really old fields like Huntington Ave Grounds where the first WS was held.

But yeah and more customizing with the stadium creator. Astroturf options, roof options, etc. Even retractable roofs. Maybe even fields without fences.
          .

Agreed…even if additional parks like Tiger Stadium as a DLC would go a long way in improving the variety.

RTTS used to be a blast until the last two years when they absolutely killed it. Bring back the old version please.

I have bought this game every year since '06 and will continue to buy it each year going forward.

              Franchise mode wish list...

I have always asked for this and I wish they would put this in .... I would like to see them add in the ability to create a coach , especially in Franchise mode. I would like to see them add in the ability to edit actual coaches and players .. esp hair and facial hair. If this stuff can be patched in .. example : Yankee players getting traded or aquired, then why can't we edit them ourselves.

Also coaches never wear team colored cleats .. it would be nice to edit them at least.

Give me the ability to veto CPU Trades. I don't want the Dodgers trading their top prospect for a 77 ovr pitcher that would be their 7th best starter.

Re: What do you need added to MLB 23 to purchase it?

A LOT. Better franchise for one. Allow us to make changes to prices which would tie into increased revenue. Allow us edit our stadiums (yes there is create a stadium but allow us to alter our franchise teams park) like allow us to put turf instead of grass etc. Allow us to rebrand our stadiums with sponsorships. Improve the AI. Trades and free agents signing makes no sense still. The Rays shouldnt be signing big stars to massive contracts.
I think the GM traits would be awesome. Give the mode more personality. For example Tampa Bay would have a GM that focuses more on the draft and is able to get more out of players then other teams. And they would focus on smaller signings. Teams like the Yankees would have a Spender tag or something where they are more aggressive in FA and more willing to trade prospects for veterans etc. Having one GM trait for each team would allow for more personality. A revamped budget system as well.

RTTS- revert it back to it was. It is ridiculous the mode is tied to DD. if i waana have a 99 overall player in an offline mode LET ME. Whats with archetypes?

DD- I do not play but I am sure that crowd has changes they would like to see.

Gameplay- feels so...scripted. No longer does the game allow you put up big rallies or big games. Often it feels like at some point (even if you square up a ball with perfect timing perfect PCI placement etc) the game will have you ground into a DP. I cant tell you how many times in game it just seemed like something wonky happened where the game kinda just took control of an outcome.

22 wasnt perfect but it wasnt worth an upgrade from 21. I doubt ANY thing will change but...

GM Traits would be cool, but just pointing out that the Rays offered Freddie Freeman something like $150 million in March.

There are a few things that would need to be updated for me to consider buying 23 at full price.

First thing is a meaningful graphical upgrade. Seriously, go look at some of the promo videos from MLB 15-16 at tell me that the current game looks any more than marginally better than those 7-8 year old games. Its ridiculous that I should be asking for a PS5 game to look like a PS5 game and not a mediocre PS4 game in 4K. Players still look stiff and lifeless, uniforms look and animate like they are made out of hard clay, the grass and dirt textures are legitimately PS3 quality. Its time this game got back to the graphical powerhouse it once was on PS3.

March to October needs the ability to use custom rosters. Tying this mode to DD XP seems to really be holding this mode back from being the true casual season mode it wants to be. Because of it you are forced to use the games default rosters or opening day rosters which is fine when the game first comes out but it loses all its replayability later in the year. I'm allowed to use custom teams and stadiums, why can't I do a fantasy draft or even use an updated roster?

Speaking of custom content, the Uniform Creator needs a massive overhaul. Just take a look at what is possible with NBA2K's uniform creator and see how much better this one can be. First of all the font choices for numbers and names are beyond abysmal. Why do 80% of the fonts look like they were designed for a 5 year old? We should at the very least be able to choose from existing team fonts. How there is no basic block number is beyond me as well. Let us upload images for logos instead of making us rely on a finicky editor. Sleeve patches would be huge as well, and give us more slots. One home and one away slot is far too constrictive.

And finally the Stadium Creator. Its pretty great as it is but it could be so much more. Wall ads and markings and placeable outfield bullpens are obvious ones. How about multiple foul territory configurations. Ability to recolor certain objects like rocks, trees, and fences. Basic shapes that can be used to create custom objects. Custom signs and flags. Home run celebration events, fireworks, fountains, etc. Team branding options like a big sign over the scoreboard or a team logo on the dugout or behind the plate. Also the night lighting is a good start but could really use some work. For example no matter how well lit the stadium is, the crowd always appears way too dark. Invisible light sources would be great as well so I can light features in the background without having to figure out how to hide a giant light tower.

If any of these things are tackled in a meaningful way I would absolutely be tempted to to buy day 1. Or if, you know, it was added to PS Plus Extra or something.

It really does suck for you PS guys that it’s a Sony made game yet you get the short end of the stick here. I’ve played both 21 & 22 since release date on Xbox essentially for free since I would keep GamePass for other stuff anyway.

You’re so right. I remember this being a graphical showcase on the ps3. The jump from PS2 to PS3 was huge after 2-3 years on the ps3. On the ps4 and ps5 it looks like it only got sharper that’s it. The grass looks terrible and from the hitting view it looks like clay. Hopefully this is the year we’ll see a real jump because currently it’s a ps4 game in 4K on the next gen consoles.

I don't forsee a huge graphics leap, since they're still very likely going to be on the old consoles. They just released on Switch last year. They're not leaving that behind after 1 year.

Never really understood this talking point. The old consoles by all accounts are maxed out on graphics. Why would the graphics team need to devote any time and resources to improving them? Just leave those versions as they are and work on improving the current gen versions that are able to be improved.
