Being able to update the coaching staff as part of the roster settings. Getting really sick of looking at Tony LaRussa while I play games in '22.

Year to year saves would also be nice.

If SDS has done anything to improve graphics (or any other features for that matter) we'll find out during the developer live streams probably around February and March.

I'm excited, but cautious about getting my hopes up. Hoping for a nice graphical overhaul like 2K has seen when jumping to PS5/XSX

I think it’s time they release a real next gen version and leave the old gen in the back burner. Like madden and nba 2k has done where their next gen versions are separate and are different. It’s year 3 and by now these games need to make the jump. We didn’t buy next gen systems to play a glorified ps4 version of the game.

Amen! I could not agree more. I'm hoping that their infatuation with cross play is not going to make them skip any real next gen graphic upgrade, but it could be the reason we don't see any larger improvements.

After all these years, I should know this, but can someone remind me when we've seen first crumbs of news and/or trailers in years past? I thought I remembered a post where someone collected those dates going back several years, but I can't find it now trying to search..

Primarily a baseball and football gamer, and TS on XSX just didn't do it for me this year. As others (including myself) have said in this thread, really hoping to see a real next gen jump in this game as so far it's just they've like a glorified PS4+ games to me.

I would imagine they will follow a similar timeline this year as well.

They need to fix the month long playoff roster. You cant release a player in your minor league system unless their team is eliminated. Pure stupid concept here & not realistic.

Able to sim games in Franchise and choose who wins. Madden has had this option for several years now. I control all teams & play random teams & games. I like to have the standings as close as possible. This feature would make that possible & its not hard to code it either.

Less focus on packs & online junk that I never even look at or ever will.

Fastballs that reach 104

Sliding Glove for equipment

Ability to edit hair & facial hair Example: ( Yankees)

More spots for Disable List

Ability to control temperature & and the difference the ball travels in April compared to Sept

Lower the min pitch selection from 3 to 2. Some relievers only literally throw 2 pitches ever.

Edit Manager appearance especially if one is fired & another one is hired

Double Headers. The ability to postpone a game & reschedule a DH

A PC version. That's it. I've given up hope of them actually improving anything that I care about meaningfully. So let the PC modding community do it for you.

I've been skipping a year the last several editions and just downloading updated rosters. But I'll probably pick it up again this year just for the new playoff format, the balanced schedule, and the shift ban. Not having those would bug me. Also, here's to another year of hoping they actually put the Yankees uniform numbers in the right spot.

Franchise is basically Season mode. No dynamic storylines. No rotating schedule. There's no heartbeat or pulse.

I would prefer just to manage a 40-man, as opposed to 3 levels.

On the bright side, we don't have to worry about rotating interlague schedules anymore.

I get money is to be made in other modes. I just wish we can have a more in depth system when managing our organization. AFL, international signings, etc. If they can keep me engaged just with my team (other than 40 man, injuries, draft) that would be more than enough. Man, that would be sweet to play as your top prospect in the AFL.

We need to see more organizational tendencies (e.g. Preferred 6 man rotation, SB tendencies, defensive philosophy, scouting). I would love for one organization to value a prospect at a 60 and mine at a 55 based for instance.

Be able to trade multiple players for one player, have the ability to use cash considerations and the player to me named later.
Currently there is a 10 year limit and $35m per year on contracts, that needs to be unlimited.

I've bought every version since '14. I've paid big money on stubs a few years when I was late to the party on DD... I'd pay *obscene* amounts of money for a product similar to 2ks Legacy mode.

A roster update and minimal improvements aren't going to keep me coming back anymore. And I'm done investing 100s of hours of my own time to create my the retro experience I'm looking for.

- Proper independent Season ONLY mode with full team control.
- Finally getting weather to be correct in Toronto where it isn't still 15 degrees celsius in July and people are wearing gloves.
- Ability to create seasons with your own lengths.
