What numbers aren't correct? The only ones I've ever noticed are the minor leaguers wearing the numbers they wore in Spring Training rather than their minor league numbers (which isn't really wrong, just a different way to go).

The real uniforms of the participating countries with rosters as accurate as possible using the MLB and MiLB players already in the game, and the ability to edit the remaining players would be great. Even being able to choose those teams in Play Now.

Even better would be if the game could eventually be like the FIFA or NHL games where they have the license to use some of the most prominent foreign leagues like NPB (Japan), KBO (Korea), LMB (Mexico), ABL (Australia), etc. And then you could incorporate them into franchise by allowing you to scout and sign players from those leagues.
second that on the inclusion of the world baseball classic....and MLB my eras would be a great addition too, especially considering the wonderful history of baseball. with classic unis and stadiums (also maybe filters) would be so good. also, expansion and create-a-team should be standard by now.

The numbers on cap have never been stable for many years.

I’d like to see continued improvement with free agency in game.

I feel like players still sign contracts that are undervalued.

Also I’d like to see team’s payroll be less flexible. Seems to me small market teams still have too much payroll space to sign free agents in the offseason.

I’d also like an option to have ratings hidden within franchise.

I've never ever asked this question of myself; the yearly Show release is an important date in my life. Having the y2y saves back would be huge along with the continued improvement to CAP, stadium, and roster-building features would be great as well.

100% agree with these too. The maximum AAV being $35 million when there were 4 players that exceeded that on AAV this year, and will very likely be more this year skews things a little. I feel like way too many players with overalls in the 80s get 1 year deals, and position players especially getting very small deals. J.D. Martinez, who is still 82 ovr and coming off a nice year, got signed by the Orioles 2 years in a row on 1 year deals; $2.6 million the first year, $3 million the 2nd. The Red Sox were able to sign 84 overall, 27 y/o Rafael Devers for 3 years/$14.4 million (total, not average). Pitchers get paid more reasonably, even if it's still too many 1 year deals, but position players are way under paid.

On the flip side, I think the CPU probably gives out too many years to pitchers. I've seen Edwin Diaz get 9 years (he'll make $25 million when he's 37) and Carlos Rodon get 10 years (he'll be making $48.5 million when he's 40).

And the backloading on the big contracts is too extreme. Rodon got $347 million on his 10 year deal, but is only getting $20.9 million in y1, and doesn't even cross $30 million until year 5. Ohtani got $368 million over 11 years, so he's under $20 million in year 1, and doesn't hit $30 million until year 5, and $35 million in year 7 of his deal.

In my franchise, there are 4 teams over $200 million in payroll (Mets, Dodgers, Red Sox, and Angels). There are 9 under $100 million (Marlins, Nationals, Cubs, Reds, Pirates, Diamondbacks, Giants, Orioles, A's). The Reds, Pirates, and A's are all under $40 million (the A's are at $27 million). Only 5 teams are within $10 million of their budget, and 9 are $50 million or more under budget (and two more just missed that threshold). So teams rarely try and outbid each other on the mid tier free agents, and even teams that aren't in rebuild mode often don't spend.

with the news of EA's college football game to be released in 2024, I'm back to full in on just being thankful Sony is giving me a great new game to hold me over until 2024.
my original plan was just to play Show 23 until June, but now I'm super pumped to play all year, I can't wait until release day.
thank-you SDS for being 100% reliable even when I'm not 100% faithful and have wandering eyes for a hotter younger chick

yeah, I'm thoroughly enjoying Madden 22 right now, just bought it in August.
but I've been a Show first day purchaser for a dozen years now.
Show 23 will be the same, but as it stands for now, I'm noncommittal for Show 24.
back when Show 19 released, I was on the fence about moving to a 1 year lag then, but I'm glad I didn't.
when March/April arrives, I'll focus on 23 for the whole year,
then decide come spring 2024 whether I cross the bridge for Show 24, or just burn it

Y2Y saves as well as rosters!!

Increase the number of names to be used or ideally have a text to speech possibility.

Somehow make 1 mlbts server have all teams and after uploading a player.
Make it possible to import him to ANY version of the game.

Such as a player in the vault able to be used in show 20,21 &22.

They can make ZERO gameplay improvements and improve this and I’ll buy the game

If they DONT improve graphics but move mountains everywhere else I think I’ll skip next year.

The visuals are very very ^9999 outdated.

I think it’s time they release a real next gen version and leave the old gen in the back burner. Like madden and nba 2k has done where their next gen versions are separate and are different. It’s year 3 and by now these games need to make the jump. We didn’t buy next gen systems to play a glorified ps4 version of the game.
