The new schedule format, and playoff format does it for me. No way I would want to play another year with only 2 wildcard teams etc.

I don't really like the new playoff format personally, but it would bug me to be playing with the old rule. The only reason I don't use the Manfred runner is because I keep telling myself it's still technically not a permanent rule. Though if it becomes permanent this offseason (I think it will), I'll probably start using it.

Also, the Twins getting new uniforms and new batch of City Connect uniforms are enticing.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it’s simple. I want a competent AI. Today’s AI is punchless offensively.

In all honesty, without Y2Y saves it's hard to imagine me buying the future version of the game. I'm a franchise player and have been playing The Show since 2011. I think I've bought every version from 11-20. I skipped '21 and '22. It's kind of a drag I don't get to be excited about the new versions anymore, but there just doesn't seem to be anything there for me.

Unless they bring back Y2Y saves or have a major or exciting franchise update/feature to bring more realism to the mode, I think 20 is my final The Show.

Need better progression/regression.

Every year IRL players have breakout seasons and veterans continue to perform.

SDS acknowledges this in their live roster updates but you don’t really see these ratings reflected within franchise.

In truth?

Update the roster, and I’m buying. I don’t need all the bells and whistles to enjoy sports games. Once I enjoy a game, I’m happy with roster updates 100% of the time.

It’s when devs react and change things that most games go south. Not always, obviously, but enough that I never clamor for changes.

A huge change I love for next year in the MLB is team's facing every team in the league. In Franchise play, something I hate is when say the ALC plays the NLE the season the game comes out, it doesn't rotate the next year to either the NLC or NLW. Hopefully if you go beyond the first season, it will rotate between being home/away against the interleague teams.

If this game gets native PC support, I will buy it and never look back. The option to mod uniforms, fields, etc would be all I need to have my dream baseball game.

Nice additions would be A+ and A ball, 20 round drafts, more franchise features...

Or 2k. 2k was really bad at uniform colors, and most alternate jerseys defaulted to home pants (and you couldn't select pants separately), so the ability to mod uniforms was huge.

I prefer console game and don't even have a PC that could handle gaming at this point. But being able to mod uniforms is by far the thing I liked most about playing 2k on PC.
