Yeah, I turn bulls off cause the cpu doesn’t ever get them. I know sometimes the cpu tries to pickoff too many times but I don’t think it would change the game much if they limit them.Follow me on Twitch

They didn't do the pitcher timer because, like mentioned, it would never be a thing for the CPU. And online already has an invisible pitch clock, but it's like 6 seconds (if you go past that, you throw a fastball down the middle).
It would be something that would almost never come up in actually gameplay. I doubt anyone is regularly taking 10+ seconds in between pitches unless they're setting their controller down without pausing.
The pickoff rule also isn't in. I think they were afraid of it getting abused.

Its in the left box of the two boxes displayed below the hitter informaiton. It shows your timing visually with the bat and the color coded arc, as well as displays the result of timing (too early, early, good, etc) right below home plate in that box.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

The swing timing is still in.

Yeah I know but that’s also in the swing analysis window in 22. I just find the straight line visual way easier to quickly read. There’s just an empty space now where it used to be so I don’t understand why they would remove it.
Maybe it was just absent in the tech test. No deal breaker but was just wondering.Last edited by LastActionHero; 03-05-2023, 06:51 AM."When it's all set and done, reality is the best innovation."Comment

Re: MLB The Show 23 Technical Test Has Begun - Post Your Impressions Here
I played yesterday and had a passed ball ,clearly clanked off the catchers glove and trickled away. That was rare in the past. I also was called for a balk due to a twitchy finger on my part, resulting in a quick pitch because I did not come set. I'm not sure if I've ever seen that before.
Thus far auto base running is the best I have seen in game. Runner advancement on outs, both grounders and fly balls is spot on. Maybe dare I say,too good!
i haven't played at the HOF setting ever, but having a good time with it. To me I am seeing quite a few more variety in hits, outs, etc. A lot more polish on an already great game.
Looking forward to the 28th.Comment

Actually gameplay is good already graphics would be better to have. I remeber when mlb 2k7 came out boy was that a joy at the time nothing looked like it I wish mlb the show advanced esp with the newer systems having career mode “options” stink. They already have more than any sports game already
It’s freaking time for GRAPHIX
