Yes, I just got through playing a game. Go to explorer and you should be good to go.

You can also do custom practice.



1. Go to custom practice.
2. You can choose any 2 teams here.
3. Pick either 4 MLB stadiums or 1 classic stadium.
4. Set your weather, game time etc..
5. Once your in the practice screen pause it go to practice type go down to Team Practice. There you can choose Defense, Offense and change what pitcher or batter and repeat etc.



This is sorta a way to use your fav team or matchups, you just dont have any fans, commentary etc...

It feels very similar to '22. Which is not a bad thing. '22 has been my favorite version, and I've played more of it than any other past versions. I do prefer the bat sounds in '22 more. The difference to me is like listening to baseball on the radio vs watching it live. '22 sounds like a radio hit, and '23 sounds more like watching a game in person at the stadium.

I'm still very disappointed that the afternoon to evening shadows at Minute Maid, with a closed roof, are still not correct. While the other retractable roof stadiums seem to be correct. Here is an example of what I'm talking about. I found this photo posted from a live game , and I'll include a copy of what's in the game when I get home later. The shadows are correct with the roof open, however. [ATTACH]204910[/ATTACH]

For those who have tried the beta version of Show 23, are custom uniforms carried over from 22?

No they never are....nor are stadiums or rosters. Every cycle you have to recreate all of it.

So the tech test has the online co-op mode which is great except for the fact that they DO NOT allow you to invite friends to a private match. I know this is a "beta" but they did the same thing last year. You can invite 1 or 2 friends but you can only match up vs randoms. Why don't they allow for a private match. I have 3 brothers that live scattered in the USA. We would love to be able to play 2v2 against each other but no, it's impossible and we have to play vs randoms. So very sad

I played both test versions for XSX and PS5 and found this differences:

- at max pitching the pitch speed was faster on PS5 and slower on XBX

- sounds much organic in PS5

- feel of game and pace better on PS5 (not surprising since game was developed on this console)

After playing quite a few more games.
My likes.
1. Smooth gameplay
2. Runners advancing on base paths with more ergency .
3. I’m an old guy and the only other PS5 game I have is NHL 22. So the graphics look good to me.
4. Sounds are much improved.

Dislikes
1. CPU seems punchless on offense.
2. Strikeouts seems a bit high.
This even after raising CPU contact to 7, power to 6 and timing to 6 to try and add some punch and reduce strikeouts. I guess I should add I’m playing on HOF with catcher calling pitch and location.
3. The inability to transfer historical rosters is also a huge dislike.
