If you dont like the pitch select display or you wanna see batter attributes instead or turn it completely off then go to


1. Go to display.

2. Scroll down to Pitch Select Displays and your options are Pitch descriptions, Batter Attributes and Off.


You can also turn off the batter/hitting controls to have even a more cleaner screen thsn before by.


1. Go under Display.
2. Scroll down to Batter Control Display and your options are Minimal, Off, On.

I feel like there is again way too many home runs in this game. They love the home run way too much and we need more base hits. The field still plays way too small, and there fix for it was to make the outfielders feel slow and clunky and it makes the game not look very realistic. They need a better fix.

Also, I don’t like how they still have Diamond dynasty and allow people to pull out the second starting pitcher out of the bullpen. It’s not allowed in regular mode, but they allow it in diamond dynasty and it gets abused way to much. Make the change please.

This is something I’ve noticed in the past as well.

Too many Homers and XBH, not enough singles.

I can’t remember the exact percentages but the MLB HR per PA average is 3%

On MLB it’s more like 11-12% IIRC

1. Turn auto fielding on from general under decisions.
2. Under control and defense go down list to catch position indicator turn to off.
3. Under Display scroll down to Player Name Display turn that off.


Hope this helps.

I have auto fielding on and catch position indicator off and player name display off and I still have the blue circle. Did I miss something?

Seems to only work if your team is on defense. Try it when you’re in the field.

This shows the point I was trying to make earlier in the thread. Once you include pitcher clutch into the equation, it balances it out just like contact vs hits per 9 did. I only see the clutch having a significant impact if the batter has high clutch and the pitcher clutch is low

Definitely going the custom roster route as I’m only an offline player.

If I counted correctly, 7 of the 9 starters for HOU has 90+ clutch lol

It looks like you have to have throwing on buttons too. I was trying Button accuracy. I looked on 22 and if you turn the button accuracy on you get the blue marker.

I turned everything off and use buttons for throwing, still have the blue circle.

What the heck lol

On another note, when i tried the throwing meter it didn’t move around or look like the meter they showed in the premier. It was in the middle and the green was HUGE every time. I had to try to miss the green. But I also play on Allstar if that makes a difference.

You half to have auto fielding on, ball marker off from drifting ball etc i use buttons for fielding etc.
