Ok fellas, after further testing you can pitch with Catcher Call (Fielding Aids on) auto fielding etc. You will see blue ring under player only when you throw the ball. In order to actually see 0 blue ring at all you half to turn on auto throwing.


I hope this answers any questions and frustration.

drat, i really liked using auto fielding / manual throwing with no blue circle like it is in the current released version

The game had this problem in a past version. It got reported and fixed. Let’s hope the final version is fixed. They know about it.

I always used The Show 16 but that one is gone too. So without trying to find that view in another camera angle I finally switched to fish eye 2 and I’m kinda liking it now. Now if only the runners window would only appear when the ball is in play…

As was mentioned before, it's not gone - just renamed. Show 16 is now "Catcher Far" with a note at the top of the screen indicating that change. Fisheye 2 is a good camera, though.

Game might play well but it looks the darn same they haven’t changed the graphics a wink why
They needed to do something cloth physics by now ?

If they do a major graphics overhaul then other modes will suffer(meaning number of resources). There will never be a perfect medium. Do you want better gameplay, better modes and the same graphics or better graphics with little no improvements to gameplay?

If they do a major graphics overhaul then other modes will suffer(meaning number of resources). There will never be a perfect medium. Do you want better gameplay, better modes and the same graphics or better graphics with little no improvements to gameplay?

It doesn’t even have to be major, just stuff like better grass/dirt, jerseys with top button loose, shadows of flags that move and not being static etc. Since the ps5 we basically only got 4k with better frame rate and some birds casting huge shadows haha

Actually gameplay is good already graphics would be better to have. I remeber when mlb 2k7 came out boy was that a joy at the time nothing looked like it I wish mlb the show advanced esp with the newer systems having career mode “options” stink. They already have more than any sports game already

Did they remove the timing indicator on purpose for 23? I’m missing it in the tech test. It was such an easy graphic to quickly see by how much your timing was off..

Will all the new rule changes be in MLB The Show 23? I know the new shift change made it in. What about the new pitcher clock? Or the bigger bases?
