It's very much possible. The game is simmed so it knows the play outcomes for the game, ala if someone hit a 3 run HR. You can fake or create it as much as the sim engine is detailed. If all you know is Soto hit a 3 run HR, you just plug in the details needed to create a hr from a CPU/CPU game and show it. They have the debug capabilities to create certain outcomes via things like exit velo/angle/runners on, they have showed these in previous feature premieres but unsure if those are used when games are simming.

In one of the very early madden games (I believe late 90’s) they had a group of top 10 highlights every week from games around the league. So you could watch specific plays from games that were simmed. I used to love doing that after every week was completed. I think we forget that a lot of the features people would love to have in franchise were at some point there across the various sports games. But also as someone else mentioned, before the monetization of all our beloved sports games, the vast majority of developer effort was spent on franchise. Can you imagine where we would be if we had 3-5 lifecycles where 90% of dev. Resources were spent on just franchise? That is how sports games used to be.

OH BS don't give me that crap I never said it was a FACT at all you just took at as me saying it was. yeah in my opinion I think they COULD have done it anything is possible in any world but the priority wasn't there (as I also noted) don't take that as fact take that as what I think.

imagine if I say the astros will win the world series again. you will take that as me saying it's a FACT in your books and everyone else is wrong.

This is what you do you don't just do it to me either someone says something slightly off about the game or a different matter of opinion and you go off at them.

Hey take it easy. The poor developers are sleeping in the office right now. Constructive criticism of their game is never warranted. Some people might not get invited to be insiders if they start to think OS isn’t 100% on their side about every decision they make.

Looks like Russian aircraft which would be an odd choice.

You might be right but when I saw them I thought they were Tomcats with the wings swept back.

I see the resemblance a bit, but don't think that's what these are.



It's close, but there are some clear differences. I'm not sure exactly what jet they made the model off of, but it would be fun to figure out. They could have made a fictional jet, too, I guess.

LOL I'm amazed you guys pick this stuff out. I would never look twice at what the fly over planes look like. But I suppose if they were propeller planes then I would notice :wink:

Yes, everyone is different and the things we notice are different. I have never thought about the grass or the dirt until I read others. As far as the flyover I just thought they were Tomcats. I do see some difference when I looked harder.

I seen one clip of helicopters flying over so it sounds like it is based on the city or just random.

Those look like the bottom of F-22 Raptors to me. At least from that angle.

But they are probably just generic planes they put it. I'm sure any resemblance to any foreign plane is unintended.

regarding those aircraft above M's Park, definitely Canadian Air Force.
Vancouver done been had their eye on wanting Seattle for a long time.
we never should have stole their Grizzlies from them.

I can definitely see the F-22 resemblance. The mid section around the tail is definitely different and the wings are slightly different, but it is definitely close.

I'd be interested to see if they made the model themselves or if they got it from another Sony studio. It's not a big deal, just interesting(imo).
