same here, other than creating stadiums (and when EA's CFB comes out), I don't even see any pressing need for a ps5. if this was 15 years ago when I played a ton of non sports titles, then yeah, I'd ''need'' the most current up-to-date console. but my eyesight is so terrible, I can't imagine a ps5 would be infinitely better than a ps4. plus, I still need SoTS, even though my hearing is in the same boat with my eyes lol

Yeah there is just not enough yet for me to move on. Especially the price point. I mean I think its reasonable, its just not in my budget right now. I am in such a better place in my life right now so its all good. Plenty of great stuff on PS4 still to play. Plus I can only do digital as my Disc drive stopped working years ago. LOL

Yeah SOTS is still pretty cool. I would love to create stadiums but not enough to move up. Baseball is the only sports game I play as well. The Show and therapy get me thru the day. LOL

Watching the White Sox Spring Training game from yesterday, Kopech has short hair now. Hopefully his player model will have that or it's going to be annoying looking at his long blonde hair all year.

I wouldnt count on it but I also read that The Show was at Minor League Parks a few weeks back doing scans
So there is small hope

Cause I dont want to look at the same Grichuk they have had for 5yrs, Nico Hoerner still has long hair in game (short in real) and probably top Prospect in game Gunner Henderson has short hair in game but its long in real Life

Man ive been saying this to myself for years
Especailly since they keep changing the commentating Crew and we are losing so many names in the game.
Im sure it cant be that hard
But as a Cub Franchise player and Nico Hoerner being one of their Top guys I dont want to hear all season- Now batting No.2
And what blows my mind even more is the Jumbo Tron picture is up to date but not the Player Model 🤔

I agree, and I was thinking they could add something like "Default" to the choices so if it the hair or facial hair does not look good or whatever, you can revert back to the original player model features.

I dont know if “let us” is the proper designation. I dont know of any sports game where its possible to just add hair to an existing facescan.

I don’t remember what madden it was. But back on the PS2 I was able to edit Broncos QB Jake Plummer. Gave him a beard and long hair which he was sporting in real life that year.

Every sports game should do this. It could also help with players looking older as years progress.

2K has multiple facial hair and hair style sets for players. When you go into the player editor and select existing presets they add through patches as players change their styles frequently. You can change that at anytime.

if my memory was right wasn't the problem there that it counted towards being a created player then as soon as you did that? I am not sure if that was the PS2 era.
