I found a nice roster with him as a created player. The roster editor was able to give him a three year history so he isn't a rookie and potentially winning ROTY or having rookie verbiage.

He will probably be in SDS rosters by end of week though.

I’m about ready to call up Brett Baty to play 3B, the bottom of my lineup is one automatic out after another. It’s just a matter of figuring out what I want to do with Eduardo Escobar, I’d like to keep him to have a right handed bat that can play the infield on my bench but I’m not ready to get rid of anyone currently on my bench. I’ll most likely go for an eight to a seven man bullpen.

Yea I got him playing 3B for me. He just hit a 3 R HR to beat the Marlins.

Raisel Iglesias allowed back-to-back ninth-inning home runs to Adam Engel and Ha-Seong Kim as we dropped our second straight, 3-2 to the Padres.

So after an 8-0 start on Simulation, I'm 0-2 on Competitive. I think I'm just going to roll with this.

Thought 10 games, we're 8-2 with the Mets at 7-3 and the Phillies 5-4.

Marcell Ozuna, who can't hit a beach ball IRL, is batting near .500 with 8 doubles, 5 homers and 12 RBIs. I'm kind of tempted to move him while his stock is high. I hate pitching with Iglesias, so I'd like to move him as well and make Minter the closer. But I'm not sure anybody would take on Iglesias' contract.

I'm not sure how many updates I'll be giving for the next two weeks as I'm about to be leaving for vacation, but I'm bringing my switch so hopefully some progress will be made. Or not, because I'm at a point in my season where a vacation from this rebuild might be necessary...seriously my team sucks lol.

So I finally got rosters and everything to my liking, and I'm going with my hometown Seattle Mariners. I always do a Fantasy Draft but this time I decided to do it a bit differently than I normally do. Usually I'll Draft for all 30 teams but not matter what I do I always end up not loving the teams for one reason or another. So this year I decided I'm going to just Auto Draft my fantasy team. So I kept doing Auto Draft until I had 3 teams that had a core group under the ages of 27. Now idk which team to choose because they all have a amazing core to either a rebuild around or to compete now with lol

Prescott, AZ (AP) - The Hops wrapped up a nine game road trip with a three game sweep of division rival Prescott. The Hops went (6-3) on the trip and now lead the DL West by 16.5 games as we near the end of June.

The Hops took the opener in dramatic fashion as Robbie Westbrook hit a two-out grand slam in the top of the ninth to turn a 7-4 deficit into an 8-7 lead and the Hops held on for the victory. Westbrook went 2 for 5 with two home runs and five RBIs in the victory.

This was a wild back-and-forth affair. The Hops grabbed a first inning lead on a Roberto Geronimo RBI single. The Hot Shots answered right back with a Khris Kovach solo home run to lead off and a Noah Wilson RBI single to grab a 2-1 lead.

Emmitt Hampton hit a solo homer in the third, his 21st, to tie the game up. Robbie Westbrook then homered in the fifth to put the Hops up 3-2. A Matt Olson sacrifice fly would tie it up in the bottom half at 3-3.

Oscar Aleman grounded out to first with runners on second and third in the top of the six, allowing Emmitt Hampton to score the go ahead run and put the Hops up 4-3.

Noah Wilson and Paul Knapp each hit solo homers in the bottom of the sixth as Prescott grabbed a 5-4 lead. Matt Olson then blasted a two-run home run off of Angelo Chacin in the bottom of the seventh to put the Hot Shots up by three and seemingly in control.

In the ninth, the Hot Shots brought on closer Lester Medrano. Roberto Geronimo singled to open the inning, but Oscar Aleman grounded into a 6-4-3 double play. Shoe-Lace O’Tying drew a walk. John Benitez and Forrest Owen each reached on infield singles to lead the bases. Robbie Westbrook then blasted a 2-0 fastball over the wall in right center to stun the sellout crowd and put the Hops up 8-7.

Lester Medrano (0-2) took the loss and it was his third blown save in 20 opportunities. His ERA has ballooned to 7.78 in 19.2 innings of work.

Vic Miller came on and nailed down the win with a 1-2-3 ninth to pick up his league leading 26th save.

On Tuesday evening, the Hops once again rallied late and came away with a 6-5 victory over the Hot Shots. An Isaac Nettles two-run double in the top of the seventh proved to be the game winning hit as the Hops increased their lead in the ML West.

The Hops would go up 3-0 in the top of the first on a Robbie Westbrook three-run home run. He hit two on Monday evening and drove in five. The Hot Shots would get two back in the bottom half on a Harwill O’Kane two-run home run off of Sam Herzog.

Prescott would tie it up in the third on a Matt Olson RBI single. They would take the lead in the fourth on a J.J. Ruffing RBI single and would add another run on a Khris Kovach RBI infield single to make it 5-3.

That would spell the end for starter Sam Herzog. He lasted just four innings, allowing five runs on eight hits. The bullpen was stellar, allowing just one hit over the last five innings.

The Hops would offense, did not have a hit after the first inning until the top of the seventh. Robbie Westbrook and Roberto Geronimo singled to open the inning off of reliever Lester Medrano. Oscar Aleman then doubled home Westbrook and Isaac Nettles singled home Geronimo and Aleman to put the Hops in front 6-5.

Medrano (0-3), who took the loss last night, allowed three runs on four hits and did not retire a batter as his ERA ballooned to 9.15.

Sam Varela, Aldo Osuna, Pedro Macias and Vic Miller worked five scoreless innings with Miller picking up his 27th save.

The finale featured another late Hops rally as Phillip Choi hit a two-run home run in the top of the tenth to help Flagstaff to a sweep of their rivals to the south with a 5-3 victory.

Flagstaff (57-23) took a 3-0 lead in the top of the second inning on a David Benitez two-run double and a Phillip Choi RBI single. But the Hot Shots answered right back in the bottom half on RBI singles from Cesar Zambrano and Alexis Lerma.

Prescott (41-40) would tie it up in the fifth on another Alexis Lerma RBI single.

The Flagstaff bullpen was once again the story. Starter Alex Farmer was chased with two-outs in the fifth after throwing 88 pitches. He allowed three runs on nine hits. He struck out four and walked one. The bullpen did not allow a run and just two hits over the last 5.1 innings with Aldo Osuna earning the win to improve to (5-2) and Vic Miller picking up his third save of the series and 28th on the season.

The Hops now return home to take on last place Colorado Springs (35-47), Prescott (41-40) and Roswell (36-44) as the calendar turns to July.

Trades: The San Diego Seals have traded 29-year-od SP Adrian Santana (77 OVR, C POT) to the Las Vegas Nuggets for 26-year-old LF Henry Diaz (74 OVR, C POT).

Around the League: Matt Campbell (8-4) tossed seven strong innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, while striking out 11, as San Diego defeated Tucson 6-3 to get back to .500 at (40-40).

Vladimir Bruno hit a grand slam to key a 6-4 victory for Chandler over Las Vegas. Mesa’s Albert Pulido went 4 for 5 with two home runs (22,23) and five RBIs including a huge three-run eighth inning homer as Mesa rallied to defeat Santa Fe 9-7.

Long Beach and Amarillo combined to score 26 runs on 27 hits with 18 walks in a 14-12 victory for the Surf Dawgs over the Honey Hunters. Adrian Esparza went 4 for 6 with a home run and five RBIs to help pace Long Beach to the win.

Albuquerque’s Jeff Horner suffered a torn Achilles in the Mariachis 16-4 win over West Texas on Tuesday evening. His season is over. Hulk Hoagie went 3 for 5 with two home runs and five RBIs as first place Austin destroyed Rio Rancho 14-0. Rick Singleton continues to tear the cover off the ball in Austin as he went 3 for 5 with a home run and four RBIs. He is hitting .362 with 14 home runs and 46 RBIs in 46 games since coming off of the injured list. The Fire Frogs have now gone 27 innings without allowing a run outscoring their opponents 23-0 in the three wins.

Swept the As in Oakland (which wasn't surprising considering Oakland has the worst record in the entire league), then came home to begin a series against the Royals and we won game 1 of that series 8-5. Manoah pitched six very good innings to collect his 20th win of the season while Chapman picked up three hits to keep his hit streak moving along. Now at 23 games and counting for him.

Cardinals have lost 8 straight since losing Nolan Arenado

The Cardinals (44-41) have lost 8 straight games and now trail the Cubs by a game in the NL Central. The Cardinals have not won since losing Nolan Arenado in London for the season to torn labrum. The Cardinals returned home and were swept by the Astros in a 3 games series, swept by the Yankees over the weekend, and have lost the first 2 of a 4 game series to the Marlins in Miami. Its been an ugly rough stretch that has seen this team lose games in different ways, whether it be poor hitting, poor defense, or poor pitching both starters and bullpen blowups.

Injuries are plaguing this team as well. The Cardinals lost Brenden Donovan to a shoulder tear that will keep him shelved until mid-August, Nolan Arenado tore his labrum and is gone for the year, Paul DeJong suffered a MCL sprain during Houston series that will keep him out until after the All-Star Break, and Tommy Edman has missed the last 5 games due to flexor strain.

The Cardinals have 2 more with Miami and then travel to the south side of Chicago for a 3 game weekend series with the White Sox which will conclude the first half of the season. Hopefully we can maintain distance with the Cubs while we try to get healthy.

Cardinals acquire Edmundo Sosa from Phillies for Connor Hjerpe

The Cardinals have re-acquired a familiar face as they have traded for SS Edmundo Sosa from the Phillies in exchange for LHP prospect Connor Hjerpe. The Phillies made a move earlier and had DFA'd Sosa, so the Cards made the deal, considering the depth issues they currently have with their infield. Sosa will start at shortstop with DeJong injured, and could maintain that position even with his return.

Cardinals call up top prospect Jordan Walker

The Cardinals have recalled top prospect Jordan Walker from Memphis. The 20 year old was hitting .272 with 13 HR and 47 RBIs with the AAA club. Walker will be immediately relied upon as he'll take over the hot corner due to Nolan Gorman's significant struggles both at the plate and in the field. Walker was in the starting lineup on the 4th of July for his MLB debut where he went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI.

Cardinals claim RHP Jake Odorizzi off waivers from Rangers

The Cardinals have claimed RHP Jake Odorizzi off waivers from the Rangers. Odorizzi was placed on outright waivers and the Cardinals are continuing to build depth in their pitching staff, so they placed the claim. Odorizzi will join the 40 man roster and be in the bullpen for the Miami series. Chris Stratton was optioned to Memphis in a corresponding move.

After dropping the first two games of a three game series vs Oakland the Mets have begun to shake up their roster. Carlos Carrasco has been designated for assignment and the Mets have recalled Tylor Megill to replace him in the rotation. They have also called up third baseman Brett Baty and sent Elieser Hernandez to Syracuse. Baty has hit .313 with 5 home runs and 10 RBIs in 48 at bats in Syracuse this season. The Mets are currently 6-9, five games behind the Braves and sitting at fourth place in the division
