My top MVP candidate Cody Bellinger was facing top Cy Young candidate Aaron Nola and Boog acknowledged the match up in the commentary. Bellinger went 2 for 4 with HR, single and 2 RBI and K'd twice.

They must have *just* added this, because it's the first time I've seen it all year.

But the Red Sox dumbbell home run celebration is in the game now! My own screenshot from the game I'm currently playing. I'll try to get a better shot next time, I barely got this one because I wasn't expecting it and my hands were off the controller lol.

I wonder if they've added any of the other new celebrations from this year? (Angels samurai helmet, Reds Viking helmet, etc)

Not sure if this has been the game before this year, but if it has been, I've not seen it - home plate ump takes a foul tip right off the mask and goes down.

On a side note, I love how the catcher and batter couldn't care less

I’m down to the last week of the season and when Pete Alonso came up and his stat box was showing it highlighted the RBIs and had a note that it’s a career high

Tie game in the 8th inning and I have runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs and Alonso batting. The first pitch is a ball and then they decide to intentionally walk him. First time Ive seen the cpu decide to intentionally walk someone mid at bat

And which one is that? There's a bunch of slider sets in the slider thread.

3 games left in the season. Me (Arizona) and CPU (Houston) are both locked into our spots. Houston is in the wild card game and starting Javier, their best starter this year. After 4 it's 0-0, he's given up 2 hits, 1BB and k'd 6. They pulled him to save his stamina for the wild card start! Nice piece of logic there!

Swanson drops the ball on transfer from glove to hand on what should've been a sure double play. Very nice touch that adds to the realism of the game.

Talk about the little things... the Rhys Hoskins BAT SPIKE from last year's playoffs is in the game!

Just started up a franchise with the Phillies - third game of the second series of the season in the Bronx against the Yankees. It was a close game, I was winning 4-2 in the 8th inning with a runner on 2nd and Bryce Harper coming up. The Yankees walked Harper (he had hit a 2-run HR earlier in the game off Gerrit Cole, by the way) to get to Hoskins with 2 outs in the inning. I took a ball, then swung at the next pitch and crushed it to left. Hoskins proceeded to do the bat spike - just like against Atlanta!! Just amazing. Granted, in real life, it was the postseason and there was a lot of pent up emotion for Hoskins leading up to that moment. Not quite the same here, since it's in the first week of the season in my franchise, and it's not like Hoskins has struggled so far. But it did match kind of nicely - with the intentional walk leading up to him, and then BANG - 3-run home run that basically put the game out of reach.
