Definitely in NBA 2k. There are multiple instances of it. I can't create a fictional team called the Titans. You can't use the word class because it has a$$ in it. It runs a content filter for any custom words not in their name database.

Funkycorn, Thanks for the support. You make some valid points showing a lot of research. You obviously are educated. One thing I wish to make clear about this issue. I wasn't referring to The SHOW users who use the VAULT. I was talking about users like myself who create rosters to use privately. You mention download totals, but this doesn't include users like myself who do not upload or download. There has also been renewed interest lately with the Negro League inclusion in The SHOW. These players would also be classified as Historical players. Wouldn't you think SDS would be thrilled to have a new user base who had an interest in other stars from the past. For me today's game is not baseball. Baseball is a game with 9 players in the lineup, not 10. I do not believe in the extra inning rule either or any other rules that were recently added.

I agree. We should get to do whatever we want in our single player offline experiences. Just explaining my reasoning for the why it's there. But I do agree with you.

I guess I'll keep saying it. Hancock is already in the game. Adcock is not in the game. So you can't create a "new" name using the letters c*ck". Nothing to do with allowing or disallowing the two names.

I think it was removed because Boog hasnt redone the name Adcock yet. It will be interesting to by how many names the database has grown from 23 to 24.

Because of the change of announcers and having to re-record all the names that were once in the database. There are several names that are still missing from the game that were once in when it was Matt V and crew
