IGN got the chance to sit down with Ramone Russell and discuss the upcoming game.

Yeah at this point I'm tuning out the hype. Just going to wait for March 15 and enjoy the actual game instead.

Apparently there is no game beyond Storylines this year.

I’m I the only one who thinks it may be time for Mr Ramone Russell to perhaps be replaced by some one new that cares more about baseball?

If what we have been seeing the last 10 years+ is mostly his ideas well let me just say he sucks at his job!

Based on the screenshot, SDS has yet to fix the Yankee numerals on the back?

That’s all it was going to be about. It was only going to cover what has already been shared in the early premieres.

SDS has a marketing plan on releasing information and they aren’t going to release “second hand information” based on an article from an outside publication.

Considering the sales numbers and the fact the game has won Sports Game of the Year awards (even here on OS), I’d say he’s doing a pretty damn good job.

Ramone Russell isn't a developer, he's in communications with the community, a pr guy if you will. The guys you probably have a real issue with are Chris Cutliff, Chris Gill, Jason Villa, and Steve Merka.

Uninformed complaining is more fun than reading the game’s credits

I think we all just need to relax and take a deep breathe. As countryboy said, they're only going to talk about stuff that they've already presented to us.

Let's see what the next 3 weeks brings before we get out our pitchforks.

And he has higher ups that tell him what to talk about. He likely has a script he has to follow. So none of this marketing debacle is on him.

Doesn’t seem like it. Unless they’re fixed on the current uniforms. That one is a throwback because there’s no MLB logo on the back. Still I wouldn’t count on them being right.

The red on the fielding glove in the first pic seems to pop a lot more than I remember it in previous versions. So maybe non traditional fielding glove colors will look a little better, or even have team colors for fielding gloves.

I’m of the opinion getting Ramone out is the only thing that can save this game.
