Like a decent with a few decent prospects and will sign a player from time to time. Detroit, NYY, LAA, Toronto.

Leaning LAA and signing Snell to see if I can help Trout finally play meaningful ball games.
Yes, he still has 7 years and 200-something left on his contract. Dodgers is probably a few teams to could afford him.

That’s what I use spring training games for, still meaningful to a degree that way

I have been a Braves fan since the days of Dale Murphy, Bob Horner, Ozzie Virgil, etc.

They'd be stupid to trade Trout to the Dodgers. Maybe it makes sense from a pure baseball perspective, but from a business perspective, losing both of your best players to the crosstown rival is a good way to tank fan support to an unsustainable level

I much rather get all I can get now for him than risk him get injured again. He's not young anymore. Yes he is still elite player. 32 years of age is pretty much in baseball.

Re: MLB 24 Franchise team choice?

I'm trying to figure this out now. I just play one season so long term rebuilds really don't matter for me, nor do I really enjoy rebuild franchises. My criteria is just a fun team (to me) that I haven't used before.

I'm contemplating these teams right now:
              Orioles
              Rays
              Tigers
              Mariners
              Reds

I'm currently leanings towards the Orioles. I love the young talent, super competitive division and I love that yard.

The Oakland A's seem like a good team to start as well. I played a few games with them in exhibition mode. They got some power in that lineup.

I always want to go with my hometown Guardians, but I really like rebuilds, soooo......choosing between:

                      Rockies
                      Marlins
                      Nationals

Outside chance of it being the Giants.

                      Already did Oakland and Milwaukee.

Can't choose Royals or White Sox because they're in the Guardians division, so I don't like them.

The Angels would be a great tear down and rebuild but I find them boring for some reason.
The Giants just signed Snell to a 2 year deal.

Was already considering it. I’m going to play in the national league for sure and I like the challenge of that division.

But honestly what I’ve been really considering is doing a fantasy draft. It’s been a long long time since I did one. Probably over ten years. I had gotten away from them due to despising the cpu draft and lineup logic. I don’t know if that’s improved. But I would get to hand pick my team, not have to worry particularly what division I’m in, develop what type of team I would want etc. Just something I’m considering.

Who do you remove from the Giants to make room for Snell? Will Snell be the Ace for the Giants?

I’m down to 3 team. Some of my criteria are franchises that haven’t won a world series in at least 5 years, young super star potential player, good stadium/uniforms, not a lot of power on the team and not a complete rebuild since I like to play the first year.

                              Don't roll with the Braves.

I've done about a dozen sims for my CAPs... tehy routinely win 105+ games, twice they had 17 game win streaks, one sim they won 25 of 26 games after the All-Star break... but somehow, they never make it to the NLCS.
