While 23 and 24 are both worthy MLB baseball games, ultimately I have to put both aside (not permanently) and replay 19 more than 23 or 24. I can't get into not having control of my bullpen the way I want. I wish with 25 I could choose to turn off the 3 batters faced minimum rule, same as the option as I have regarding DH's and automatic extra inning baserunners. If they had done that with 24, Sony would have successfully impressed my impression lol.

I occasionally go back to my save I have on 19 that was started on 14. I plan to move it to 20 once I finish that season. I have played every game, including Spring Training. I too am not a fan of current rule changes, I'm old school lol. Really gameplay wise you can't go wrong with any version of the Show.

‘24 is the most fun I’ve had playing the show in quite some time. The gameplay, graphics/lighting, and audio/commentary is improved over ‘23 IMO. ‘24 has restored my faith that this franchise is continuing in the right direction and makes me excited for next years version.

Loaded my franchise, game in Arizona, citi-connect uniforms, stadium with the roof closed looks magnificent……the gameplay/graphics/lighting….putting a couple of my petty gripes aside…..is majestic.

The lighting playing in Arizona is incredible. I just wrapped up a series there not too long ago, and was blown away. I don’t know if the incorrect start times there has anything to do with it, but I really wanted to take pictures of some of the shadows

Beat the Braves 1-0 in a game that saw a total of 7 runners get thrown out at home.

I was hoping to see the ump cam on home runs, but I've never seen it. Only on strikeouts.

While letting the game breathe/idle, I saw a stat screen pop up that showed the NL Cy Young award race (Sonny Gray involved) and thought, damn I wish those types of stat screens would show during normal gameplay.

Also wish they would bring back the league leaders in the scroll ticker. They could replace the fantasy stat information.

While letting the game breathe/idle, I saw a stat screen pop up that showed the NL Cy Young award race (Sonny Gray involved) and thought, damn I wish those types of stat screens would show during normal gameplay.

Also wish they would bring back the league leaders in the scroll ticker. They could replace the fantasy stat information.

I don't like they show up to date standings and then show the game in progress as you play, so you already know who won in a tight divisional race.

A month after posting this, I figured CFB would consume all of my foreseeable time, but even with less control of my bullpen than I wish, I HAD to return to MLBTS24. its like ''Every time I think I'm out, they pull me back in.'' There's a good little soul owning thread in the CFB forum but if anyone owns my soul its San Diego Sony. This series hasn't failed me in the fifteen years I've played it and this last ten days has me jonesing for MLBTS25 already. Can't wait to be impressed next March.

MLB 21 remains my favorite of the series after playing two and a half seasons of every pitch of every game. I have a long way to go to play that many games of 24, but it has a chance to surpass 21 for me.

In all the years of playing - we're talking PS1 days - I'd always only used X to hit. A few weeks ago, I decided to try hitting with the right stick. Don't think I can ever go back to buttons now. It's freshened up the game for me.
