Strikeouts are right on but kind of stats for Walks ? I find out default control at 5 is bit too precise, even for Meter-Legend.

Thru 33 games I’ve given up 101 walks.

One thing I'm seeing that seems different from years past is when you have a hit with runners on and someone is going to score, the cpu will throw home even if it's not going to be a close play and it allows for an easy opportunity to take an extra base.

Thx…not that bad after all. Last year team avg was between ~2.5 - 4.2

For sure it depends of each other pitching style. A player more agressive in the strike zone will walk less but probably more hits & HR. You’re probably painting the corners right ?

I've been a Classic Pitching guy for years and it's as good or better than ever.

When not using an elite pitcher, I'm holding my breath as I try to nibble and pitch around elite hitters. It's so painful when I try to put a pitch in the dirt and it drifts over the plate. My head is down even before it's hammered.

Conversely, I'm walking no less than 3 a game because once im burned I make sure to pitch around the dangerous guys

How do you start on a certain level with Dynamic Difficulty? Every time I've ever tried it starts at rookie. I'd love to start at HOF and then turn on DD and let it go from there all season.

With the staff the Cardinals have I’m more cautious about staying in the middle of the plate against certain hitters

Same here. It starts me on Beginner each time.

When the game first boots up all the questions it asks about your previous experience also included which level you wanted to start on skill wise. This allowed me to start DD on the level I wanted. Maybe it’s different if you don’t start with dynamic right away, not sure.

Alternative is just max out the sensitivity slider and/or adjust sliders temporarily and you should be able to jump it from beginner to whatever you want within the run of a few innings of an exhibition game.

Noticed they got rid of the "The Show" audio updates in franchise each day. It was nice to hear them even if I didn't listen to every one all the time.

In a close game when players strike out and show frustration and throw their bats down that should lead to that player should be ejected and suspended. I wish The Show had that. Umps make bad calls that could cause a rally.

                            To reset your dynamic difficulty:

Go into the file management and delete the custom settings file (this is going to delete all your settings, so you'll have to set everything up again).

Reboot the game. It will start up just like the first time you played it and ask for your favorite team, etc. When you're prompted to enter your difficulty settings, select the level you want to start at and make sure dynamic is set to on.

                              I will eat my Crowe....

The ONE thing this game finally does a better job at is...GRASS. It is no longer as patchy, shiny or blotchy as years previous and ins some ways mirror the mlb 2k series from 2k9 to 12....

The only thing I yearn for now is the cloth physics like in mlb2k7...

                              Gameplay? tight as ever...

Look? The same but tolerable now

The ONLY stadium that has took a hit is the twins target field...

Im waiting for more old school classic teams rosters too now

That said. best version on next gen imho

they could improve the outfield running animations toward a hit ball sometime sit just looks too robotic esp on running the bases after a hit

that said. fix the uniform physics and add more real sponsors and you've got something special
Brand New Tomba Slider sets ready for Next Gen Versions of NBA,Madden and Fifa Stay Tuned...

After one week with the game on PlayStation, I am sufficiently impressed enough to make the plunge and get a copy for my on-the-go Nintendo needs. I might play so much baseball this summer I forget to eat, and lose the 30 pounds I badly need to lose.
