Don’t want to start arguing here. Your picture is as good as mine but I’m on and off depending of the view angle. I think this uniform is really sensitive to lights angle.

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
Lol I was watching for a couple of innings and kept thinking wait “is it the same shade.” Then thinking “no it’s different.”
I think you’re right it’s sensitive to light.Comment

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
Well, they’re clearly more of a gray than black.
I would bet the pants and the gray part of the jersey texture is the same shade, then the jersey also looks darker because it has black texture on it. If so, maybe SDS can adjust the pants off that?
Went a little too dark, but I did a really quick adjustment to the pic from the other day to show what I’m thinking they could do:

So the pants should be darker?Comment

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
This tricky part is what in the world is supposed to be the base color for the jersey? Is it the darkest spots? The lightest spots? Somewhere in-between?

I color sampled the flattest part of the pants where the belt loop is, and I also sampled the flattest part of the jersey right next to the crease is to the right of the Z of his last name, and they were pretty much the same color. But was that the base color of the jersey? Regardless, I think the pants should match, or at the very least, be darker then they are currently in-game.
Here's the two samples from in-game using the same technique as above, getting the flattest part

And here's the one from the IRL pic. Definitely needs to have darker pants

The gray used should also have a more bluish tint to it, especially when looking at the samples from IRLLast edited by laguna_bob; 05-04-2024, 02:13 AM.Comment

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
I’m not watching the game so just going off the pics you guys posted, I think so, yeah.
I think the jersey having black and gray texture is what’s going to look different from different angles and what they put in the game looks good to me.Comment

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
Anyone else think that quite a few gray uniforms looks off? They seem to be either too dark or have too much of a bluish hue to them, especially when comparing them to other road grays. What do y'all think?
Ones that I think look off are the Rangers' road unis, A's, Angels', Royals', Pirates', Reds', Nationals', Phillies', Mets', and Marlins'Comment

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
Also, just noticed this error on the A's uniforms. The elephant logo should not have the white trim on it at all (this applies to all of their current unis).
Here it is in-game (same one on the White, Gray, Gold, and Kelly Green jerseys) with the white outline
A's Patch.jpg
Here you can see there isn't any white outline on the patch

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
It seems weird, but I think the game has it right. The tan jerseys are considered their "alternates". If you go to the team store, tan jersey is always preferred to as "alternate". Brown is referred to as "alternate", "road", or "away". I don't know why they refer to them as such, since they wear tan more often.

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
Are you sure the brown is still considered the main road uniform? Even the one Wikipedia has updated and lists the brown as the alt, which in years prior was the other way around. I also remember hearing that they switched them around from someone else starting this year, but unfortunately I can't find a pic of the Padres' MLB Style Guide from this year to confirm it
