Announcers

The current announcers are good, but, I'd love to hear some of the great voices in the past.

Vin Scully, Mel Allen, Harry Caray, Ernie Harwell...

This would be an excellent use of AI to help generate.

I would even be willing to pay extra to hear these to help cover IP costs.

Some of my greatest memories as a kid was listening to KMOX and Harry Caray announcing for the Cardinals.

I listened to Harry Cary in Chicago after he was chased out of St. Louis. As I recall his relocation had something to do with the Cardinals owner's wife.

I feel like my wish list is something that is never going to happen but what the hell i will try to speak it into existence


I would like to see the A ball teams be a full roster, would love to see them also play games, would love to see the real minor league ballparks, and add in international budgets and have players show up from Japan or Cuba or where ever.

Full, playable High-A rosters has been on my wishlist for awhile now. Kinda ironic that we're approaching the 20th anniversary of MVP 2005, which, to my knowledge, was the last baseball game to feature that.

I'm sure that adding a new, playable level of the Minor League ball would be a significant, complex task, but, c'mon, it's been two decades...

Also can we get all the managers? Like can the Mets have Carlos Mendoza and can the coaches that you can hire be all real coaches? Give them all $500 to use the names

Thinking of things as we go. I saw changes to franchise off-season. Maybe one will be longer contracts? Like usually maxed at 10 years will they have the real Soto contract in years and real money

Could be. I was also wondering if they would ever be able to change the 3 player max trade number. Not a huge deal but I wonder why its always been capped at 3 players max.

That would definitely require an overhaul to the budget, salary cap (max budgets for teams) and financial system in place.

It's too late for 25 but at this point I think we have beaten the horse to death....but here are my top asks, hopes and dreams:



1. Expanded rosters - Full single A, International Free Agency

2. Fully customizable Franchise mode - NBA 2K has an incredible suite of customization options that allow you to add or remove teams, realign divisions, rule changes, salary structure etc etc etc. Obviously 15 man rosters are easier than 93 (and hopefully more with expanded rosters) but for us classic roster junkies and the roster community this would be so welcome in addition to the already solid options we have with rebranding and create a stadium. And add to this the ability to have bullpens in the outfield for created stadiums, fictional and branded billboards (branded with sponsers already in the game), artificial turf, domes and retractable roofs.

3. Revamped CPU lineup logic, and bullpen logic

4. Year to Year Saves making it's return

5. Vastly expanded audio library to where it was before the new team took the reigns in the booth. It's something that really needs to be done. Way too many missing classic first and last names.


That's the wants, hopes and dreams list.

I can't wait to get my hands on 25 and see what the new off-season looks like.

I'm totally guessing here, but I feel like what makes #2 impossible is the complexity of the MLB schedule that already seems to be a struggle for them to get correct for multiple seasons.

Having the option for 5-6 man rotations and better bullpen logic.

For custom teams, give me more than two uniform options. Or at least let me edit them thru out the season.

For custom stadiums, bullpens off the fields, please! And more scoreboard graphics options. Let me put my team logo on the dugouts.

I’d also love a way to start a franchise at any point during the season, like Madden has. Come trade deadline, I’d love to take a contender and see if I can take them all the way thru.

One other thing. I would love the ability to play a full Negroleague season. Would also be cool, since they added females, to have a female league option.
