I'm praying that means they really did improve the game because I(and I know plenty of others) haven't bought the game on Playstation at all since it went to gamepass.

REALLY crossing my fingers they improved the graphics and this is a proper next gen game now as the game was getting stale.

That was my first thought as well. My hope is that it took a large enough leap, that SDS wouldn't just want it launching on Gamepass. It does finally seem like Last Gen is being left behind in sports games. I'm surprised that WWE2k is still cross gen, since PGA 2k isn't cross gen. I almost expect Madden and 2k to remain cross gen because of the revenue they get from last gen

I do wonder how the Xbox sales will fare with no Gamepass launch. I feel the PS fanbase is loyal and committed. But not sure how committed the Xbox fanbase are to the game

High School part was interesting too.

Showing college logos on the cover as well.

If I had to guess, they went the NBA 2K route.

Meaning you’ll play a HS tournament, have the choice to go to draft or go to college. They probably have 4-6 licensed college teams to choose from and then you play a 5 game season or something before being drafted

I usually don't do early access because my wife always says it isn't worth the extra money for just a few days. However, I have a hundred bucks in my wallet that she told me to hang onto when we went on vacation that she has completely forgotten about. Long story short, I'll be doing early access this year. lol

- No Physical Collector's Edition, so no hat this year

-No Tech Test this year

- No Y2Y Saves

- Logos and Custom Stadiums Transfer again

- Preorders go Live on 2/4 at 8 AM Pacific Time

I usually don't do early access because my wife always says it isn't worth the extra money for just a few days. I usually do early access and take the day off of work. I'll definitely be doing that again....

Considering the info says you start out in high school, playing a bit in college doesn't seem so far fetched now [emoji3526]

Maybe I'm mixing between NHL or NBA2K, but I'm almost certain I had the option to get back to college in a previous iteration of MLBTS!

Well, there was no chance I skip 25 (yep, I'm that kind of guy) and I was getting the pre-order with DD edition but now, with March 14 as early release, I'll have to do a compressed schedule so I'm off that friday and play that game for 3 days with minimum sleep!

That was a thing. You get drafted after the showcase and you have the option to sign with the team (start in AA), 2 years of college or 4 years of college (you do the showcase games again and get re-drafted)

This really sucks that it won't be on Game Pass. I wonder if they want to see how many Xbox gamers will buy it for $70. The thing is though, Xbox gamers are just used to it being on Game Pass so now asking them to pay $70 is very risky. I don't know what sales of the game were on Xbox and don't care enough to Google it, but I wonder if this is just a one-year thing or if it's gone from Game Pass permanently now.

I definitely understand the point.

But I don't know I would say it is risky asking someone to buy the game.

I would think they are banking on XBox players being committed to the game after getting it free the last 3 or 4 years. Whatever it has been.
