Angel Martinez has a mini head after the latest roster update, probably not the only one. What a mess this year.

Something we have noticed since I believe update 15 or 16 (losing count).

Created Parks are basically unplayable now in franchise.

Massive frame rate issues when you are hitting. Framerate drops when the ball leaves the bat and you cut away to seeing where the ball is going.

Flickering bullpens on the field…..nuts.

Also when assigning parks the process is like watching paint dry as the load screens hang and load anywhere from 3-5 minutes at a time for every park you want to assign.

It has become a huge mess and the feature simply is not working properly anymore.

PS5 is the system.

The instability of the game is heartbreaking because we love using classic created parks with classic rosters and it worked perfectly on 23 and 24.

Since the last patch you can no longer call a mound visit when you utilize the D-Pad. You have to press start and choose mound visit under “Manager”

You can still do it from that screen by pressing square, but for whatever reason the square button graphic is no longer showing.

Another immersion killer. I have a 30-team fictional franchise and I just made it to the All-Star game in 2025. The players are all wearing uniforms of the MLB teams that were replaced by fictional teams. For example, the Tahoe Lake Monsters have four All-Stars and they are all wearing Sacramento Athletics uniforms in the All-Star game. The players in the Home Run Derby all had on the caps from the MLB teams and not the created teams.

During the draft, West Texas had the first pick and the player selected comes out in a Washington Nationals uniform.

There are numerous graphical errors during the games too where it brings up the former MLB team logo instead of the created team logos. I guess I am not shocked at the lack of QC this year, just disappointed.

That’s not lack of QC. They promised that the MLB jerseys would be available for the ASG, which was a feature many hoped would be in the game since it’s back.

It’s unfortunate for those using custom teams though since it doesn’t include the custom jerseys/caps. The other errors though where MLB logos are popping up in menus and such I would think would be much easier to update than the jerseys.

Learned today that the whole "Stand Up to Cancer" cutscene the game does in Game 4 of the World Series breaks the audio. I've tried it twice, and after that point, the PA Announcer and Umpires don't make any sound.

I have submitted bug requests for this since May so I am taking it it won't get fixed but ....

In MoM in Franchise the manager options for pitching are not working. If I triy to brush back a hitter it does not happen. I tried this on 4 straight pitches and there was not brushback. I also tried to ptich low and away, outside. inside, up and in and none of those worked either.

When the cpu is batting all the contact numbers listed on the screen are the same.

In Franchise mode, the "Mound Visit" option no longer shows on the bullpen screen.

Again, in Franchise mode, when the score bug shows the top minor league players and there stats, they all show 0 HRs.

When using the NL All Star team as the visiting team the batters wear the home team helmats and the fielders hats are all blank.

I guess it's to late for MLB The Show 25 patches?

Hopefully SDS can fix this in 26.

Create a player question. My player .. has gray/white hair... Im in my third season of my franchise .. my player now has dark / black hair and beard.. doesnt matter what I do to change it .. still shows black, though in the edit screen for hair color Im clearly on the gray/white on the color screen. This was not happening in the first 2 seasons of my franchise . I played spring training in the 3rd season , all was fine ... first few games at the start of the regular season , all was fine ... now all of sudden this is happening . What can I do ?
