How come I can't get Boog to call Jared Karros by his name and not his number?
Both his first and last names are in the database.

Are they assigned to his first/last name audio?

What is up with the pitcher throwing the first 2 pitches for strikes to almost every batter, no matter what the related sliders are set to? Put them all at minimum and it still does it?

(Not looking through 30 pages and the search function doesn't work.)

Kristian Campbell is the same

The PA announcer (Alex and Renee I believe ) say his name, the other and Boog only say #28.

Both first and last name are editable, but makes no difference.

Online rated win-loss record/leaderboards keep resetting.

This is annoying. Yes it’s an old school way of playing online but we just want our W-L record to not get reset.

Ian Hamilton, reliever for the Yankees has the majority of the back part of his hat missing. All you can see is the hair on the back of his head. Not game breaking or anything but pretty annoying. Makes me not even want to use him.

It’s because both have their actual names in the game, that’s why the PA announcer is saying them. If you play as the minor league teams, the minor league announcer says their names as well.

So it’s something wrong with the names not being said by Boog, definitely a bug since you shouldn’t need to select the first or last name for either and it can be left as none. Either that or they weren’t recorded yet since Campbell wasn’t an MLB player yet and Karros is pretty far away.

If you want to test this yourself, send them to AA or AAA and you’ll hear the MiLB announcer (I can’t remember his name) say both of their names.

If you have a CAP on the default roster, and modify them, Boog, PA and minor league will say the original CAP name

To test, modify any cap and change their name, then play a game.

I did Stanley Tucker ( I believe ) on the Red Sox, changed to Nate Eaton.

That what I mean, I think it has something to do with CAP players that have names already tied to them. Since the name is technically already in the game, it probably isn’t allowing us to overwrite that.

So even if you try to change the name, it’s not going to register because he already has a PBP name. I assume they have that for almost every player for the MiLB announcer for minor league guys like Tucker and Karros, but probably didn’t get across to recording the names for Boog yet because they aren’t close to MLB yet.

Campbell sticks out because they weren’t sure if he was going to make the roster yet and now that he has, it’s just noticeable that his name wasn’t recorded from Boog/Singleton but was for the PA and MiLB announcer.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not a bug, just that they either haven't yet recorded or haven’t uploaded the full player names in and will most likely do it later on. I’d assume Campbell will come first since he’s actually in the MLB and the other ones will come if they get a chance since they are either not expected to make the MLB or won’t make it for some time. Although I guess the “bug” is that we can’t override them, but I think that’s by design for these players since they do have audio attached to it, even though it’s only the MiLB and/or PA announcers.

The created team glitch causing blue batting gloves and cleats is back after the latest patch. Up until this patch this was the first year I haven’t had the problem.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Not sure if this is technically a bug or just lack of programming but the CPU-controlled teams can still option veterans with 5+ years service time to the minors whenever they feel like it without designating them for assignment and passing them through waivers. User-controlled team cannot.

I do have 30 team control on but everything set to Auto besides lineups and rotations for the other teams. Which may or may not play a part.
