This needs to be fixed. It happens to me all the time. It’s making the game almost unplayable if you use analog swing. Had a gap hit that should harv been extra bases and guys slides into first.

Don’t hold the stick as long as you do and it won’t happen. I tested it out and when you actually flick the stick forward instead of holding it for a second, your player won’t slide into first. Found out that the reason why my player slides into first is because I’m holding the stick too long.

I can't seem to get the "One Job" trophy for bringing in a pinch runner to steal a base to pop. I've done it multiple times. I start the game, get a Met on base, sub in 99 speed Jose Siri and swipe 2B. I've yet to get credit for the trophy.

The only stipulation listed is "excludes simulated gameplay". I'm not simming anything. I don't know if they mean you have to be playing vs. CPU rather than vs a human controlled team, or you can't have auto baserunning on or whatever but none of those apply. I'm stealing the base vs the CPU.

I didn't have this issue until the latest update. Now the Broadcast Network option is locked when starting a new game.

There's a few instances where I think it's supposed to lock - the first game of Spring Training, Home Openers, The "Game of The Week" (an example of this is the 2nd game of the season between the Cubs and Dodgers that was played in Japan IRL), and the playoffs. We were never supposed to have the option to change it for those instances - they're always supposed to be Show Network graphics.

I had the option and changed it from Regional to Show Network for a game I simmed up to in June (to test and make sure the ticker had been fixed, which it is). it definitely gives you the option when you're allowed to now.

Two games in and it’s clear this is still a good few patches from being finished.

Senga doesn’t set with no runners on base, anyone seeing this with other pitchers?

Finally reported the classic guess pitch bug. Also so dumb to have to have an account to report anything.

Also this could be a me thing, but is anyone having the CPU not throw walls as often? I’m on All-Star hitting and it just seems they attack and attack. I’m only drawing 2 walks a game, as in the previous games I could get 4-5 walks easily.

I did adjust the strike frequency down a notch but it still doesn’t seem to matter.

I cycled through the thread but didn’t fu d this. I assume it’s my controller, but does anyone else see their fielders randomly jump or dive for a ball? I haven’t noticed issues with those buttons creating an action on any other games.

Done the same with the strike frequency slider and I’m seeing far too high a percentage of strikes thrown still. Pitchers are a lot more aggressive.

I honestly think it’s because they put in ambush hitting. They want you to use it, so they made the CPU attack super aggressively. It’s absolutely dumb.

I’m on legend difficulty with default sliders and I’m getting 3-6 walks per game from the CPU. Just faced Framber Valdez and he walked me 5 times in 4 innings. So definitely seeing a bunch of walks on my end. I’m pretty patient at the plate and some of those were due to fouling with 2 strikes and eventually getting walked, but it’s pretty good IMO.

I don’t mind the odd passed ball here and there, but it’s every breaking or off speed pitch in the dirt is almost a lock to be either a passed ball or barely blocked by the catcher, even if it’s not that low.
Wasn’t mentioned in the patch, but this seems a lot better so far after a few games played. Threw plenty low in the zone and only the really low ones in the dirt caused the block animation. And only 1 or 2 were passed balls (and they should’ve been due to how far away they were).

Anyone else noticing a lot of graphics popping in and out and flickering? Example, CF in my view as a batter, the team writing on his uniform was popping in and out. Batting average of the scoreboard also flickers every 4/5 seconds too.

Game doesn’t seem polished to me.

Yeah, the jacket thing is weird. And it's only with my 3rd base coach when playing vs the CPU.
