So how long can you going by just simming and not doing any captures. Smart or dumb decision? I think I'm doing well and then crap hits the fan. I don't know.

And do i need to move my pieces towards the teams stronghold I want, or just build around my base and play capture games against the stronghold I want. IE I want Mariners, easiest way to take them on?

I am half way done my second conquest. i only used capture phase against the rockies early on, when i am building reinforcements and i just need to take a few million fans. I just try and get as many open territories as i can. I have only had a few strongholds taken from me and then they always have 0 fans in that stronghold so it is easy to take them back. Sometimes i will skip an attack phase to get more reinforcements. So that i can capture a stronghold on veteran or rookie. I never have more than 1m fans on a stronghold and have as many as i can where i want to attack from.

So in my game the Blue Jays just took over the Yankees stronghold. But when I go into the capture screen it still shows the Yankees with 22 million fans instead of the zero it shows when I capture a stronghold. Does that mean the Blue Jays have 22 million fans in the former Yankees base? Or does it just stay stuck on whatever amount they get eliminated at?

The Blue Jays have fans there and you will have to beat them. Then when you beat it you get credit for taking out the Yankees

So once I beat them I get their strong hold, reinforce the area around my strong hold and then just move down the west coast?

The only territories you have to take before would be right beside it. If u get beside it and you don't think you have enough fans you can skip a turn and reinforce. As you will have the first attacking turn. If you have 4 times the fans you can play on rookie. After you beat it you can take out more of their territories and move onto the next one. They could have 50 territories but if they don't have a stronghold they cannot attack.

I only have 6 strongholds left to capture but the mainfest destiny mission says I've captured 20/30. Is the mission not going to register as complete even if I beat conquest?

I beat it and am at 22-30. I have sent a few tweets to Ramone Russell, but i have not heard anything

Yes I have redeemed every one. I think my issue is I redeemed 8 before the patch and started over

Took me a bit of time to fully understand the mode and now that I do it is a breeze. Hoping to have the mode completed before the weekend is over.

What difficulty did you play most of your Stronghold missions on and do you play out your Capture phases?

When I first started, any games I played were on All-Star. As you gain more fans and move them you can lower the difficulty. Once I got over 50 million fans I skipped the Capture phase. With the amount of fans I have now it is very easy to overpower other strongholds and play them on Rookie.

When you beat the last stronghold just manually advance the manifest destiny mission and it will work. Just beat the giants to complete the mode.
