I know this has probally been asked before, but do cards you get after games get better? I been going rookie on take overs but had a couple veterans games I had too do. Honestly I wanna just finish the mode so I can play regular games and br when it works, but the quality of cards I recieve sucks.

How do the innings counts work? If you use a pinch hitter, does his appearance count as one inning? If you use a reliever for one batter, does that count as one inning? If you use a reliever for 1.1 innings, does that count as 2 innings? Etc.

I never received an answer on this. Does anyone know the details about how innings are counted in DD?

About to finish up the mode. Finishing off the DBacks last few strongholds in the west. For me I started off grabbing as much territory as possible. Then I took out COL, MIN, CHIC, CHIWS, KC, CLE, STL, DET. I established myself as the powerful team in the Central while the BlueJays took over the Eastern Seaboard and the DBacks rolled through the West. Realized I was gonna have to fight off two giants at once I darted south and took over Houston. Then I made my way Southeast and took over the Marlins and Rays. At this point the only teams left were me, Atlanta, Arizona, and Toronto. I stacked up a TON of fans on my western border so the DBacks could never break through. I then made my way up and took out the Jays. THen i threw everything I had at the DBacks original stronghold so they stopped producing fans. From there it was easy and I started mowing down territory. I have 3 more strongholds and I am done.

Yea right now I own everything but about 15 strongholds. Pretty much average 2 take overs per turn. Trying to figure out how to bump it too 3. Couple of the teams have taken a territory or two but I'll grab them back when I get too them. Right now just taking east coast strongholds over.

I'm gonna replay it and make a bee-line for Toronto, Houston and Arizona first and see what happens after I take them out.

So, I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about this. Does this mean if I put a lineup of all Pirates and went through the entire batting order in 1 inning, does this count as 1 inning played or 9 because I used 9 Pirates players?

If you have 9 Pirates playing a full inning, it would count as 9 innings played. But...why wouldn't you use Cardinals?

Doesn't matter how many times they come to the plate, if they're in the line-up they count for 1 inning each, in fact I think it's 1 inning for every half inning.

I've done a few teams now and play full nine inning games with certain teams and I get around 75 innings logged per game, which would make sense.

Just load up on whatever team you want to do, set it on rookie difficulty so you can rack up some statistical missions while you're at it and play away.

To my understanding, it has to be a full inning. It was initially counting every half inning but that was a bug.

I did the same, it definitely gives you a bit more variety. If I stifle Houston in the Midwest it seems like the Cards start to dominate, but with the West it's like anything goes. Once I even had the Padres taking over, proof positive that this is indeed a Fantasy Mode.

You can beat it as many times as you want, but you'll only get the 10-pack reward for "Baseball Manifest Destiny" one time.

Ah that's lame. Would be cool if they gave you some reward regardless of how little every time you beat it.
