I'm married with 2 kids. A lot of late nights on weekends playing this. Lol.

Re: What are you working on?

At this point I'm just grinding out RS mostly as my lineup isn't going to get much better without a whole lot of work:

LOVE that PS Schwarber btw, and I've got 93 Holliday to sub in if I see a southpaw. That Schwarber absolutely destroys RHP. 12 HR in 18 games I've played with him (5 were vs CPU, required to finish the Cubs epic).

I have better hitting catchers than Alfaro, but he has the best arm of any of them and it's so important to control the run game.

I've also got a decent amount of stubs again so I could take some shots at BR, but I'm just not very good at the 3-inning game.

I've spent no money aside from the $60 I paid for the game, btw.

Re: What are you working on?

I've been trying to hit 12-0 in BR this year, but that is exhausting. 12-1 was the best I could do.

Last year I hit 12-0 several times, but that's before they patched it so that big rewards came with 12 wins, not crappy golds. After they patched it I never got back to that again

Really though, after you've hit 100% in dynasty program, got to WS each season, doesn't feel like there's much else to do. Once in a while I'll buy a 20 pack to fill my appetite except it usually ends up exactly how you would expect it to.

Same here. Except I bought the digital deluxe version. I just enjoy the grind of building your team through the missions.

Haha, sorry didn't mean to sound that way. I do play with a stacked team so that certainly helps a lot. There's people out there who bat in the mid to upper 300s and I'm not quite in that tier.

I did a reroll in the daily missions a couple of days ago & got the Ian Kinsler Epic & then got the Steve Finely Epic. Unfortunately the what you have to do to unlock them can only be done in Events. So I'll definitely try for that. Now it's finishing the other epics, spotlight missions & trying to do the Griffey Breakout mission under the Diamond Program.

TFW your 9 win BR reward changes from Yoenis Cespedes to Aaron Nola I forgot about that Friday crap. Would've just knocked it out yesterday, since most golds are worth crap now.

My 12 win better be a Trout!

Not that I'm going to get there....

Haha mine went from Melancon to Crawford today. Both are usless so it didnt matter much. My diamond was Kimbrel too. Didnt matter because I got my second loss at 10 wins because some kid kept fake bunting 30 times per at bat until the game froze.

Just got the Opening Day Breakout mission completed out of nowhere - Jr. goes 4-4 with a homer - exactly the requirement needed. I only realized it when I saw his stat line after the game.

Biggest (and I thought unattainable) obstacle to the 99 Griffey cleared - I might start taking that program a bit more seriously now.

Edit: Holy ****....the VERY next RS game I put in the rookie Jr. and HE goes yard to complete THAT mission! Unbelievable!! I was willing to basically concede the rest of this RS by having to put him in my lineup vs DS and CS competition.

Both of those missions completed in one night, within an hour of each other....is this reality? There are no more real barriers to the 99 Jr. - I only have SB's left on the Rookie and Hardware missions, I just knocked out CF's and Gear, The Kid's debut shouldn't be too painful since I'm capable of walking just fine, and the BR wins will come as soon as I start playing the mode (probably once I've given up trying to get to CS...lol)

How do BR awards work, is 12 wins a diamond and one of those supercards, or is one 12 wins in general and one 12 wins in a row? Its been a long time since I played br
