Every single person I play in BR has an immortal and two other diamonds. Ive never had the choice of picking in immortal. I think I need to come to terms with the fact that this game hates me.

Re: What are you working on thread
At this point I think you might be right. I've only done BR 3 times and I've gotten Immortal Vlad, Immortal Wagner, and Immortal Wagner again.End Game Lineup: http://2kmtcentral.com/17/lineups/10...ine-end-lineup

P.S. If you get to 9 wins and the rewards follow a pattern, Altuve is the 12-win reward. That would be huge.End Game Lineup: http://2kmtcentral.com/17/lineups/10...ine-end-lineup

Re: What are you working on thread
It appears we've come across the rare situation where the game has screwed me worse than you! I was 6-1 in a BR run before the latest roster update. My potential Diamond reward was Paul Goldschmidt. Pretty good! I took some time off BR to grind for Seaver. Jump back in after the roster update, and my reward was changed...to Diamond Javy Baez. I ended up getting to 9 wins but losing out on the 25 or 30K extra stubs I would've had with Goldschmidt. I had no idea SDS could do that!

Re: What are you working on thread
Just saw that JA Happ's card art is him as a Yankee? Impressively quick to change that, considering that only 4 members of the Rays 40 man squad has card art with them as a Ray, 21 of them don't have any art at all, despite a lot of them being in the majors a long time now. At least they've managed to get Chris Archer a Pirate already...
I know play favourites and all, but this is just lazy. How much effort is it to just update everyone? There's like 1,200 players in the whole bloody leagueComment

Only 17 of the Braves have braves jerseys on in a picture. 12 non braves jerseys. 11 blank pics. For a first place team. Arodys Vizcaino has been a Braves for the last 4 seasons, and came up as a Brave. Out of 196 major league games, 5 came in a Cubs uniform, but guess what jersey hes wearing in his picture? Cubs.Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
Im so close to getting the Chipper immortal but that last Mike Schmidt mission is no joke.
I've got the rest of my lineup loaded with LF/RF for Albert Belle/Ruth while im grinding Schmidt. Im glad they gave Schmidt SS as a secondary.Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
All of those final missions are horrendous, you pretty much need half a seasons worth of hits with guys. Chipper is amazing thoughComment

Re: What are you working on thread
After not playing for the best part of a month, I got back into it and finally managed that ridiculous Frank Thomas single game mission. I swear I'd done every combination of hits, homers and RBI's except the ones required, always falling just short. As a testament to how many attempts it took, I'm like 80% of the way to his stat grinds just by trying and failing that stupid mission!
It turns out I'm about 70 hits with catchers and third baseman away from unlocking the diamond Schmidt and Bench cards as well, so I guess I'm actually pretty close to 3 more immortals. (4 actually, only need maybe 4 wins for CC as well)
Hoping the new conquest isn't just more terrible cards.Comment

With that being said, I don't want to play conquest again lol
I think at this point when I play the game it's just because I need a baseball fix because at the end of the day, damn it, I just like to pitch and hit and ****Comment

I have a hunch the new conquest will be Ted Williams.

Seriously though, some of the things they're doing this year, I don't even know how anyone in their office thinks they are good ideas. That Dave Parker RS reward when the immortals had just been released, then now this terrible Matt Holliday card for 9 inning quick count games? I swear they are either completely out of touch with their players or just not trying.Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
My hunch is Reggie, like last year. I really think they'll hold Ted Williams back as long as humanly possible in a poor attempt at keeping this already dead game going.

Strangely....do we have a single Reggie Jackson card in the game? I don't think so. He may not even be in the game, since usually he would have a rookie or vet card by now, but Ted Williams doesn't have one either so who knows.
