I decided to sell Yordan even though I hit really well with him (especially with the Arenado boost). Between that and selling Randy Johnson, who I kept getting lit up with, allowed me to complete the NL collection. I look forward to trying out Pedro in RS. I can’t seem to crack even 700 this year, hopefully he’ll help with that.

I’m going to be bummed when Matt Carpenter retires because I always rake with his cards in DD. I don’t think I’m taking this card out of my 2B slot all year.

I'm 7-0 in ranked and I think I'm just at wild card or all star or whatever the blue icon is and two of those 7 were already pretty sweaty. This game all around isn't making a ton of sense this year lol

I saw kevingohd on youtube is 13-7 and I think last year he went undefeated for a good while and his last video he used a garbage speed team but still got smoked pretty bad.

Started ranked this morning and went 2-0. First guy quit in the 2nd and next game was my first mercy rule win but it was a bot so doesn't really count as a mercy. Did allow me to at least get the stolen base for the egg hunt at least.

Hopped into BR after that and knocked out the Wade Boggs egg. That was the last egg I needed for Yelich.

Not sure what the last mission is for the final egg? I saw somewhere where it said win a game on all star but I did that in my play vs. CPU game against the birds and only got the one egg for that.

Nope that's a different mission. I've done that one.

Edit: I think I've got them mixed up and the one I'm lacking is the hit a triple mission. I did hit a couple triples in the bot ranked game though but they may have not counted as triples with the shenanigans going on.

Haven’t played a ton recently but I did play my first ever ranked games (2-0 so far), finished up TA and the Easter program, and just pulled Acuna. I’m very torn on whether or not I should keep him. In prior years finishing live series was my main focus, but I’m not super excited for Ruth or any of the other rewards. The way the show is going with more premium packs, I think I want to focus on building a Cubs theme team. I don’t feel like I’ll be able to get every card I want, so maybe I focus on the really good cards that the Cubs have gotten so far like Ryno, Ernie Banks, and Matt Shaw and see how good of a team I can build.

Still enjoying the game but definitely bummed about all the premium packs and no content to get them in. Maybe I need to start looking at the market and flipping cards.

Needing much stubs as possible I have been doing TA mini season. Get 15 HR on All Star gets you 4 ballin packs, then 40 H and 25 IP on any setting gets you 21 reg packs. I play on All Star till I get my 15 HR then I switch to veteran to finish getting the innings and hits I need. It takes 8 games at 3 innings and 9th game that I just play 1 inning. I have earned around 100K stubs going through it 4x

I haven't been able to play much and feel even more behind. I haven't even gotten Soriano yet lmao I need some double xp.

I finished a TA Mini Seasons run and almost have AL East done now and then I'll have all done.

I'm extremely bored of the paltry offline modes the last couple years now. There just isn't anything tangible to do. I know they'll rotate new Mini Seasons in but it's just bland at this point.

They've always tried funneling everyone into Ranked which is fine. I don't avoid it I just have very little time and can't do everything. But yet again the lack of variety in ways to play is rearing it's head early in the year.

2nd game was against a fine human being with a team name of "I report out of zone spammers" Apparently that means anything not thrown down the middle of the plate. Lol After 1 inning he messages me stating he has reported me and that people like me ruin the experience for others and to get a life.

I pitch pretty normally mixing a bit of everything but if you're going to show a weakness then I'm going to exploit it like any smart player would until you adjust.

3rd game was the first full 9 inning game I've had but won it pretty comfortably 9-0.

I would have thrown nothing but cutters up and away slightly off the plate and sinkers up and in slightly off the plate and then changed my team name after the game to "I don't pitch in the zone" just so it haunted them when they went to report me for the tenth time

I had about an hour to play today and just chipped away at mini seasons as that's literally the only thing to do lol...I'm doing it for the packs and stubs and all the packs are duds...I pulled aaron judge on day 1 or 2 and that's it

I feel like I've had the same exact "god squad" team for like 2-3 weeks which is made of primarily spring breakout players with the buxton boost.

I got to 20 wins in the event and sold bryan abreu for 20k stubs....Since S1 collection and XP path is soooooo far away i'm not really sure what to do with my cards. I still have all my BR cards and not sure whether to hold them or sell them. I do like willie mays when using in BR but I'm not sure if I'll even get enough cards to get 1 or 3 of the S1 bosses. Then 5 weeks from now will we have plenty of 99's equal or close to equal to them anyway?

So yeah, I'm having a hard time scavenging stubs, earning players to make my squad, and also just generally feeling uncertain about what to do with my stubs since all the rewards are like 2 months away

I hope they listen to the community and do a major overhaul for season 2 (or sooner)

On the other hand, this lack of variety has encouraged me (2nd year, offline-only player) to actually explore other game modes. Doing my first substantial RTTS run, mostly for the equipment. It’s certainly helping my stubs posture, if nothing else.

This is while I sit with my TA MS at 4/5 wins needed to get the first TA voucher. Waiting for TA C2 to drop to start going back through that MS.
