Funny how we seem to be polar opposites here. I’m a 2nd year, offline-only DD player.
Between RTTS and the long, slow grind of flipping equipment, I’m doing ok on grinding stubs to buy pack-locked, event, and BR cards. Although buying Holliday for 30k just before his value went down to like 6k yesterday did hurt my heart…
I really enjoyed TA C1, particularly the achievable, repeatable missions for a low-skill player like myself. I’m not happy about the C2 setup of Extreme moments only, have been selling dupe cards so I can’t exchange for TA progress, and I avoid showdowns like the stub-killing plague that they usually are for me. Even the AS-level offline mission is rough, as SBs at that level with these card options are hard to come by. I’ll have to just try to bunt cheese in a VS CPU game against a team with a bad catcher, I guess. On the plus side, the PXP for using C1 bosses is nice.
It definitely seems like SDS wants to really grind down the offline players and force them to go online. The emphasis on progress in various programs being so much better online, combined with a slower overall season XP path are what give me that impression.
