And just for reference I've played 148 hrs in diamond dynasty... I'm curious what the avg user has spent in dd so far

Mine is at 371 hours, pushing 372..

Numbers don't reflect that of actual gameplay. I work remote and leave it the game always on in the Diamond Dynasty Menus. LOL..

FWIW, 284.5 hours here on DD, plus 59 hrs mostly grinding RTTS for equipment.

Have all 3 bosses and all 3 S1 collection rewards, just finished flipping my way to the completionist icon. I think icons are stupid, I just like to complete collections.

Debating trying to flip my way through live series vs letting basic show packs remain useful for something well into season 2. I figure LS prices are spiking now, but should crash in July when NCAA comes out. Before they go back up when EA reminds everyone how it could be worse than SDS sometime in August, perhaps?

No real rush on my end as an offline player, but I’m on vacation and don’t have anything else worthwhile to do until I get home and can play again. Ohtani’s price is just not worth the effort, but I might lock down the other teams to avoid some random common card becoming a new-issue gatekeeper later in the season.

Well after the long weekend of grinding mostly the event .. got to 28 wins ( sold JD) and getting alot of those no sell dupes i am only Gerrit cole away from the AL being done and then 5 cards away from the NL i need all the big Dodgers and Acuna and strider for the Braves and then ill have Babe..

I finished TA3 and have 340 cards collected, they were mostly no sell cards anyways. I have hit the loop a couple of times and nothing to show for it other than silvers and i just looked and I'm at 160 hours for DD .

I think the only thing ill be doing until season 2 is going to finish the event for the Vault pack and then do some ranked with cards i like and i think my Wild card will be Larry Walker ive been insanely good with him .

Even after playing a decent amount during double xp I'm still like 200k XP away from the first boss pack lol

Ok, I caved in and finished the live series collection in a slow moment during vacation. I forgot how many stubs there are for finishing, which gave me a little bit of a boost almost back up to 100k. Guess I'm just flipping to get some stubs in the bank for S2 at this point.

Pretty similar. After feeling like DD was stacked against me, I pulled Ohtani, Ketel Marte (sold for 160K, and then pulled a no-sell version to retain him!) and Acuńa in the last few weeks. That helped me finish the NL, and now I've got 300K stubs - about 50K short of finishing the AL. I'm done with BR (got to 110 for the extra XP), just got and sold JD in events, and have no desire for Ranked right now.

I do have a desire to finish Live, though, and my best two chances are finishing the AL Central for TA3 or spinning the wheel once I get about 50K more XP. If I could start season 2 without having to worry about the Live collection, I'd start to feel better about all the hours I've sunk in this game.

I'm praying that we get either Acuna as a Cornerstone Captain or get a decent card fairly early in season 2 since he'll be out for the year.

I think a cornerstone of him could be similar to Buxton without the fielding. Maybe boost Speed, Power, Arm and something else.

Me holding onto the Braves/Buxton hybrid lasted most of season 1 at least

Was waiting for his price to drop and he got down to I think 25k...I went to buy him right when the notice came up about supercharging and quickly went up to 30k and now up to 35k....sucks

Is there any chance you think they make this lou gehrig a core card? I'm hoping they don't give us an amazing 99 to use for 7 days...I'd rather have like a 89 or 90 core card or captain card or something that's decent that I can use for a decent bit in season 2. I feel like we haven't gotten a really good gehrig card since 2020 or 2021

I ended up paying over 36k for corey seager cause of this stupid supercharge but I've got Babe now and 36k stubs left to work with....sold all my S1 cards except for donaldson/randy/degrom that I haven't collected yet because I assume with weekly awards thing and gehrig program I might still get enough cards to get paige (even tho i'll likely never use him)

Nice to be done with that, when the year started I honestly thought I wasn't even going to try to do collections...

I'm very curious to see how they do the cornerstone captains as that there was really one 1 used for most of the season and im sure they will try and make all more usable. I'm really hoping for a Masyn Winn card soon because of hitting streak and id even be happy if they saved it for season 2 Ta1 . i have been using his live series card with the Cards capt boost in the moon shot event and having alot of fun ,his swing is smooth.

Sorta mindlessly played some BR to make progress in the program and try to earn some XP. Finally broke 900k and should get at least one boss before next season - not that it matters.

Was also able to get my first S1 collection pack and took Mays - not that it matters.

So one week before Season 2:

163 hours played. Haven't touched any other game since launch. JUST NOW got the first collection choice pack and still 70k XP from my FIRST boss pack.

I know they already spoke about changes coming, but MAN do they need to really change things up in Season 2.

The wheel spin will not give you a 90+ (Diamond result only!). The prices will only go higher between now and next Friday.

I just find it comforting to have it done.

im 5 cards away i need the Dodger big 3 and the Braves big 2 but only at 66k stubs now hoping to get a wheel spin or i need 3 wins in the event to get the vault pack and hoping for something juicy to sell or one of the cards i need
