Re: The Extremely Early Wish List Thread

I dont know if this has been mentioned or not but pitches need to have more movement on them...MUCH more movement. 2-seamers, cutters, and rising fastballs hardly do anything in the show. I think breaking pitches in general need to be alot nastier.

I really cant tell one pitcher from the next in the show. All pitchers have very similar stuff.

How many times on this thread has it been suggested to have control of all 30 teams during a season or franchise mode? If none, well this one is big one, a bunch, well one more time wouldn't hurt.

Got to agree. Open the game up. Ability to choose any stadium. AND WHEN THEY ADD SOME OF THE HISTORIC STADIUMS ability to play in those too.

Improved graphics with the lighting. Have the chalk go away as the game goes on. I hate sliding into home and the chalk stays perfect!

The walk-off HR celebrations should be re-done. The ones they do in the game are too over-the-top, you should reserve that one for playoff walk-offs. Players don't jump around like Joe Carter when hitting walk-offs in June. Just show them running around the bases, with their fist pumped, or in the air, ect. Then have the whole celebration at Home Plate which is very well done already.
This will obviously be addressed, but next year the whole team shouldn't be in long sleeves every night game. Maybe every game where the temp is below 60 degrees.
The monster seats at Fenway need to be fixed. You have no fans sitting in the first row. There should be fans that appear to be sitting right on the Monster. Reference pic. You guys have the top two levels filled, but the first row is empty.

I would like to see the zone hitting fine-tuned. Jam-shots and end-of-the-bat weakly hit balls should happen on pitches in the strikezone too.

Please make zone hitting less forgiving if you aim in the wrong zone.

                        Thank you.

The ability to pull back a sacrifice bunt attempt when the ball is out of the zone would be nice (and have it called a ball, not a strike). I guess it's the animation that's the problem but it kinda sucks to have to hope the pitcher throws a buntable ball in the first three pitches or else my pitcher strikes out.

Playoff atmosphere needs serious adjusting. It could be way better.

Also, I'd like to see LOB tracked in boxscores, and tracked in team rankings.

Home-runs should be exciting, the homers in The Show need work...All we see is the shadow of the ball, not that inspiring guys!

SCEA please take some time to look at the home-runs in MLB 2K3 and MLB 2K4...I loved watching the flight of the ball in those games, it made you feel like you really laid into one...

Watching the flight of the ball in reruns just doesn't do it for me...

I love The Show more than any other, better looking home-runs couldn't hurt...
