agreed. I didn't play MVP all that much(more of an ASB fan) but the two things I loved about MVP were the throwing meters for fielders and the batter's eye.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I think I will add the song "I'm a loser" by the Beatles for all the Mets batters and bullpen pitchers LOL

This game is so much like Allstar baseball. This game is amazing. The "little thing is what makes this game so real! Great job Scea, you guys are truly underrated.

          @ Shakedowncapo

what would REALLY be awesome is during a Mets demolishing of the Phillies at Citifield...cut scenes show a few obnoxious Phillies fans getting their asses kicked by some of the CitiField faithful. And to add insult to their severe injuries (LOL), security escorts the Phillies fans out of CitiField...

          hahahahha

            @ Knight & Art1bk

that's EXACTLY how it works for '08. This ain't the first time someone on the board has talked about 'wishing' for some kind of touch sensitive throw meter....makes you wonder what kind of settings they use...or if they only sim

PS...as the users option, you can display the throw meter or keep it hidden....

that ain't directed at you Knight, because I know you know this

Yeah it felt like it to like that ROD. When I hold it down longer it made crazy throws.

the only one wrong here is YOU

choose the option to SHOW the meter and then get back to me

                        @ Scottdau

excatly...all they have to do is choose the option to SHOW the meter, as opposed to keep it hidden...and that's all one needs to know

This is really funny that some actually believe that ****

Lighting is perfect example, I think that was 2 or 3 year project before it is making its debut for 09. Things take a couple of years to perfect so don't give up hope!
this brings me hope for my deep stat break down so i can really start to manage my team like a real manager would. being able to look at the numbers that is... hmmmm yeah baby!!!

Same here. With what they added/fixed the game deserves no less than a 9 IMO if no major new issues show up. Too many people expect "Innovation" and "Gimmicks" that say "LOOK I'M A VIDEO GAME!!
Give me realism and the little things with stellar gameplay and that's all I need.

                              It needs big time improvment.

The lighting alone should give it a 9.5.
