I was hoping wally world would come through for me two years in a row, but I guess it's not happening this year. I'm sure if it's saying "cannot sell" on one computer it will say the the same thing for any wal mart.

Has anyone else had a daydream of stealing the game out of the back while you're at the store? I asked if they had the game while I was at best buy and they told me they had it but couldn't sell it til tueday. For a good 10 seconds I was considering walking through the big plastic flaps into the area where they keep games, cds, dvds, and just grabbing the game and bolting out the door.

Then I had another daydream where I was caught in the act.. It was pretty embarassing.. so I decided not to go through with it.

The game comes out in two days. I hardly think risk of prosecution is worth getting the game 48 hours earlier than the rest of us. Take a deep breath, and relax.

He may be, but it still went through his mind. That means he thought about it.

I've been around these forums too long. I know the extreme measures people here will go through just to get their hands on the game mere hours before everyone else. Last year, some guy drove over 300 miles. So joke or not, there was some level of truth to it.

Came up empty again

the roads are getting way to bad to go out now. snow and mountains aren't worth the game. I should be able to get it tomorrow. I'm going to spend the day practicing patients. At least their are plenty of spring training games on today

for you guys that are finding in the case but then getting turned down at the register, are you causing a big stink? Because if it were me, I would be. Case in point.

This past fall I found SVR '09 early at a local store and asked the guy if I could get it. He got it out of the case and then went to the register and gave me the spill about can't sell it due to street date. I asked him why it was in the case then, and he says someone made a mistake. I asked to speak to the manager.

He came over, gave the same song and dance, and I calmly explained to him how its not my fault that they had the game in the case. I told him that I'd appreciate if he let me buy it and if not, then I'd have to consider reporting them to the BBB for having items out for sale and then refusing to sale. I walked out with the game.

Give it try.

Yeah, I'll would definitely do that if the game is on the shelf or behind the glass or whatever. Unfortunately, everywhere I've gone that has had the game has had to go into the back to check for me.

Durham NC Big blue and yellow where they have the BEST products for the BUY...New Hope Commons got it from there...they told me they had it went there wasnt on floor she pulled it up on computer said they had 12...it said promo price 3/1 - 3/11 i said looks like it came out today maybe its in the back went and they rang it up......didnt say anything about not selling it....they even put four copies up front after mine. Anyone in area go to register 10 thats where they put the copies.
