But even worse for me is the IF missing balls that they should get. I wont say they are all routine, but if these plays were missed in real life by an MLB player, that player would be in A ball really fast. <o></o>

here is 1 example. I have a grounder hit between first and second and my 2nd basemen only needs to move a few steps towards first to make the grab. But instead of getting the ball is mysteriously goes under his glove or hops past him. I manually control the fielders and should not be having an issue making these plays in my franchise. <o></o>

In RTTS its 100 times worse. I am a pitcher and have no control over the fielders. Last night was my first time playing RTTS this year and im in spring training with the Indians. I was freaking out over how many times the IF would dive for a grounder and it would get by them. I looked at 5 different replays and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. They would dive over the ball. You could see on the replay that they would be in a prone position and the ball would be under their belly area. <o></o>

When you dive for a ball the idea is to use your glove to snag the ball or knock it down, or even use your arms or something to smother the ball. These guys were jumping over the ball and while in mid air the ball would roll right under them
I agree that SCEA has taken to much control away from the player and given it to the cpu. I wish they had an option for Auto/Assist/Manual with manual dumping all the canned animations when fielding. Let me go field it myself and determine if i hard charge and gun the ball, or make a slow stroll and lazy throw!<o></o>
