One thing that really slows the game down during the replays, are the needless "MLB 09" blue screen and the two teams' logos back to back. Just go straight to the replay and straight back to the game. No more blue screens. The replays take long enough since they're in slow motion.

I'd like two things tweaked.
1. Pitcher confidence: It's a good idea, I'd just like it to be less drastic. If a pitcher has a six run lead going into the eighth inning, and gives up a couple hits, or even a run or two he should not immediately fall apart, which is what I am experiancing.
2. Pitcher fatigue: Again it's too drastic in my opinion. When I get to 83-85 pitches my pitcher starts looking like the 72 year old dude who was pitching to Josh Hamilton in the Home Run Derby last year. Its fine, (and realistic) to have the pitcher become less effective as he tires, but like I stated above, the transition from effective to totally ineffective is too quick.Comment

My only complaint is what this person just said. ^
I've played the game year after year and I've loved the game, I still love it this year since it's the only reason I traded my Xbox 360 in for a PS3. But the pitcher confidence is horrible. I can understand sometimes a guy can have a bad inning but I've never went through an entire game where my pitcher didn't have one bad inning. Please don't put a warning or notice on me because I'm not saying or complaining about the CPU supposed comeback code. I believe it just has to do with the confidence factor so there lies my problem. If you watch an actual baseball game, You'll notice those guys get in jams too but sometimes they get out of them unscathed. They'll give up two hits or a hit and a walk and they'll pull through it with only 1 run scoring or none. It's a 50/50 trade off and that's fair. But when I manage the game, Even on rookie mode. For example, I was up 5 to 0 in the 5th inning against the Mets. Then in one inning, There's a single, walk, walk, single, single, double and he didn't get out of it until they had tied it up and went ahead in my case, They went ahead. I eventually came back and won thankfully. But it frustrates me and I know plenty of others, Who don't whine about comeback comeback but the confidence. It's just very annoying when you're starting pitcher falls apart in just one inning then you bring in two fresh relief pitchers and they still get hammered as much as the starter until the cpu ties it or goes ahead even on rookie mode and yes I've used mound visit, I know my baseball well.
Point of my frustrations:
Not everytime when a guy gets in trouble does he fall apart like it seems to happen everytime on the game. I love the game and please don't cite me, I love this game and play it everyday usually but I'm just voicing my opinion of what needs to be fixed first before all of this other stuff needs to be added.Comment

re: Put your "wishlist" things HERE (even though it's late in the game)
A couple more things I noticed last night after playing that really piss me off...
First off, the slow animations in the outfield when an outfielder is approaching a base hit to the outfield. They seem so slow and scripted and it has cost me many runs at the plate because of these animations that cant be interrupted.
Second, GIVE ME CONTROL OF THE RIGHT PERSON!!!! Numerous times there has been a groundball to second and it gives me control of the RF or a ball hit to the gap in LF and I have control of the CF who is no where close to the ball.
When I find more I will post againComment

Not sure if this was asked but how about adding expansion teams ... Like remember I think it was the old allstar baseball where you could add teams like from brooklyn or tulsa or las vegas ... with an expansion draft i think that would be awesome that was the only good thing about the old allstar basesball.. The game with jeter on the cover i think it turned into 2k if i'm not wrong... anybody remember this???????????Comment

Acclaim just rolled over in their grave, lol.
Yeah, it was pretty nice, got the mascots and everything. Was a pretty solid title for its time. I know I made a Washington Admirals team once.Comment

For me it was always the Brooklyn Outlaws.
Ebbets Field.
Man, I want to break out the XBox and fire up 2005 now.
Loved that game in expansion mode.
The only thing better was being able to TOTALLY set up the league exactly how you wanted it....rename teams...rename cities....in High Heat. No having to fudge with recreating historical seasons there.
Awesome.

Please try to get the audio from the DeWayne Wise catch from yesterday's White Sox game for MLB 10. It would be nice to hear that from time to time.
Also, I'd like to see more improvements to the RTTS by possibly adding more interactions with your agent and other ways to improve your character. Also adding the possibility to have 2 or more RTTS going at the same time.Comment

I agree 100% but I would like a ON/OFF option or a slider to control Pitcher batter Clutch / Confidence .Comment

2 things that have to change for mlb10
please please please get rid of the catcher kicking dirt. that is the worst thing ive ever seen. seriously. the catcher will tell you the location of every pitch. i really cant stand that and it really has to go. and not as bad but still bad i will get picked off at first by the pitcher and i havent even hit L1 to take a lead...other then that best game ever made...Comment

Re: 2 things that have to change for mlb10
I honestly don't think that the catcher dust thing is that big a deal. For a little while it bothered me, but now I've learned to ignore it completely, because it doesn't even tell you where the pitch is going to be. It might work 30% of the time to predict pitches, and even then, hitting is a lot more than just knowing if the pitch will be inside or outside.
Now, that's not to say I don't think they should take it out - it was a distraction for a little bit. I just don't think it's all that big a deal.IT'S GREAT TO BEA MIAMI HURRICANE"At exactly which point do we start to realizeThat a life without knowledge is death in disguise?"Comment

Re: 2 things that have to change for mlb10
A little thing, but I'd like to see replays separated from cutscenes as far as being able to turn one or the other off. I like my walkups and cutscenes, but have no use for replays (they'll show me the good ones at the end anyhow). I can still get walkups with the broadcast presentations set to 'none', but no cutscenes it seems. Or am I wrong?Comment
