Re: Put your "wishlist" things HERE (even though it's too late for The Show '10)
Just curious, why are you so convinced we will have new player models for 10? I do not remember reading anything that said any such thing. Not criticizing just asking.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

I could be mistaken, but I think people are going off of a post made by Chris once that said they were shooting for the models to be in 09, but the amount of work involved in getting them right (animations, proportions, etc) made it not possible. I don't recall him confirming, however, that they would be in for 10. I think it was just assumed based on the effort for 09 and grew legs from there.Comment

CAP Idea
One thing I would like SCEA to add is the ability to provide a created player historical stats.
Currently, when you create a player he starts out as a rookie regardless. Here is my idea:
Have a screen with your created player's pic on the front of a baseball card. Then you would choose years of service. You select a number (0 - 15 for example). Once you select the number, the card turns over with each year listed. NOW, you enter in the stats for each year of service.
For example, you create yourself and you choose five years. The back of the card would start at 2005 then 2006 on down to 2009. You then enter numbers for each year (AB, R, H, RBI, 2B, 3B, HR, BB, K and SB for hitters and W, L, S, BS, CG, IP, ER, H, BB, K, HR, ERA). This gives your player career numbers (batting average and slugging would be calculated for hitters and ERA for pitchers).
This way, your created player has historical data that the announcers could comment on.
I hope someday that developers figure a way to save created players' stats from one game to the next and it would update stats automatically. What?Comment

Re: Put your "wishlist" things HERE (even though it's too late for The Show '10)
I'd really love for them to get rid of the random ejections. At least tone them down. I get annoyed with players in the midst of a lengthy hitting streak getting tossed because of a play at first that isn't even close. I'd like for them to add something like MVP had where the gamer has control over their managers and players with close calls and whether they'd argue and possibly get tossed. or they should at least make the ejections make a little more sense, perhaps a player in a huge slump rather than a player that's on fire.
I mentioned this a while back when the game first came out, but I'd also like to see an elimination of the cut scenes after strike outs.
Every time a batter strikes out, the camera zooms in on homeplate to show the batter whiffing or the umpire calling them out. I think it would be more natural to just see the strike out from the same angle at the pitchers mound.Comment

Re: Put your "wishlist" things HERE (even though it's too late for The Show '10)
I would like to see fan promotions impemented more. I know it reflects on attendances, but cutscenes of the promotion would be cool. When we schedule a promotion and for example it's ball give away night, then lets see a cutscene before the game starts of fans getting handed a ball as they come through the gates. I would also like to see better promotions such as:
Fireworks night with a cutscene of fireworks after the game
Bring Your Dog to the park - show the fans in the stands sitting with their dogs.
Christmas in July with cutscene of Santa throwing out the 1st pitch
Kids run the bases with cutscene of kids running the bases after the game.
1970's night - explained below.
For 1970's night have the crowd wearing tie die t-shirts with afro wigs on. On the scoreboard on 70's night it would be cool to see all the players wearing afros or long hair or shag haircuts on their mugshot photos when they're batting. Also, the players on the field being able to wear the teams jerseys from the 1970's that night would be cool. It would also be nice to be able to create a playlist with songs from the 70's that you could use for the batter walkup songs. Same stuff with 4th of July too with fans wearing red, white and blue, players mugshots in a patriot uniform, and a playlist with patriotic songs. You could have a seperate screen to create all the promotional stuff and put whatever music playlist you wanted to be used with that promotion night. Then you would just schedule your promotion on the calendar like in 09, and then the music and everything loads itself automaticaly.Last edited by TN - BRAVES FAN; 11-20-2009, 02:31 AM.Comment

I got to thinking about special nights and if they do have them maybe a 70's night could include a random female streaker or twoheehee.

Re: Batters taking off batting gloves after getting on base?
This is the same as a signature move or a specific pitcher move if you ask me, how do those make the game better? They don't make the actual game better but they do enhance the game experience.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer
