I was barely a baseball fan when I bought this game, but was wanting something different. I've only done the RTTS mode so far. I created a 1st basemen and off I went.

I played in the mariners pre season, then a whole season for the Diamond Jax's, now almost done my 2nd season in Tacoma.

This game has so many great things about it, I see things in game 120 that I haven't seen before. I won't even have to purchase The show '10 because I have so much to do in this one first.

Best game I've played, hands down. Even though in this season, in about 280 at bats for Tacoma, I only have 1 homerun (which i just hit in my last game)

In West Tennesse I had 18 for the season. LOVE THIS GAME.

I'm having all this fun before I even hit the Major Leagues.

We need ONE thread to consolidate the already insane amount of these discussions currently in the forum as well as any future installments as they will ultimately continue to show up as we get closer to release date. Yes, most of us have been in the same position as you are currently... and yes there are a lot of us who bought the PS3 JUST for The Show.

Yes, it is arguably the best baseball game to ever grace a console and yes it is quite possibly the best sports simulation ever.

Traded in Xbox 360 for PS3. Got alot of trade in credit for console and games, and then I was ready to receive my PS3...

Oh wait there are none in stock anywhere!!! Had the guy order my a unit, wont get here til next week. Glad I did this early.

Anyone trying to wait and trade in the 360s should act quick. I waited 3 years to play a quality baseball game not called 2k , I guess another week won't be too bad.

I also saw the recent gameplay trailer for the other game, looked exactly the same and oh wait...they added a new horrendous batting view that made me a bit nauseous looking at.. Thank the lord for gamestop and there +30$ trade in credit for trading in a console for a new console. Act fast these PS3's are in scarce supply.

I traded in my 360 both my ps3's and our wii and all my games. Then pre order'd the Show 10 and I am going to hang it on a wall and dream about all the games my RTTS guy plays on his trip to the Hall of Fame.

But first I will have to post about how i can't play the game because it's broke and sliders don't fix anything.

Didn't buy my PS3 just for The Show, but I did buy my HDTV when I got 08 The Show because it doesn't run properly in standard def.

I bought a PS3 for The Show 09 about six months ago and I use it for much more than that now, but I only have one other game beside The Show ( Fight Night Round 4 ), which demonstrates 1080p graphics nicely.

Yeah, that is a good deal. I did it about 2 weeks ago, got about the same as if I would have sold it on craigslist ($130 for the system+controller/headset HDD). Lucky another gamestop a few miles down the road had a few in stock. I am loving Uncharted. I said this in another post, best non sports game I've played in years. I've been playing the 09 demo like crazy.
